      @@gomontrealgo8647 yeah, I never knew who he was until the diss, also, he wasn't that big to begin with, he slipped under my radar. but the punchlines Eminem threw out against MGK were class compared to him, haha. but I'm not going to lie, he does great things as a punk rocker, he should of chose that path to begin with, (out of the 1 or 2 songs that I've heard from him in his new style).

    One thing I learned from another commenter on another reaction to this song: All of the syllables hit on each of the drum notes for the whole song. Took me since the record came out to realize this after another listen. A credit to his craft level of the english language.

    Last times I've heard Ja Rule's name was 1. That time a couple years ago where 50 Cent bought out the front 200 seats of Ja Rule's concert so there would be no crowd, and 2. Apparently he was involved with Fyre Festival other than that nothing since Em shut him down

    Dude man I probly heard this song hundreds of times when I was younger, absolutely loved it, but honestly never ever payed attention to what the lyrics were actually saying. I had no idea there was this much depth to the song, what an incredible track. Seriously probly haven’t heard it In over 10 years, this was amazing, this just put this song on another level for me. It’s amazing I stopped listening to music for years and now that I’m back into music and really listening to music I get to enjoy all of these songs over again because I actually listen to lyrics now.

    Perfectly broken down by Prof Knox himself!
    I always loved this song for it's beat and lyric combination. The lyrics are hard hitting and eminem's voice following the military-esque beat all along makes it so unique.

    Toy soldiers was also a cover done by Tiffany a pop idol from the late 80s early 90s. Idk it was a cover until you talked about yhe original.
