    To all those judging this woman for altering her body, and saying she shouldn't have prayed to God, one you are sick. Secondly, God Gave us a beautiful thing called Free Will. If you tell her not to alter her body, then the weave you wear, and the makeup you slather across your face is wrong as well, am I right? The hypocrisies need to stop. If you disagree with the video, select a new one. There a millions of choices, yet you selected a video labeled "BBL Journey" Clearly you were interested. Deal with your own issues before judging others.

      +Amina Batts Hey sis!! ❤😘 I'm truly thankful for your perspective. You are 1000% correct. I appreciate you taking the time to bring these points to life. I have said the same thing about makeup and weave. It's no different. One is just more extreme than the other. If one is a sin, so is the other and according the Good Book, no one sin is greater.
      Anyway, I hope you're having a fabulous weekend! 😘😘

    • @wildfire_xo
      @wildfire_xo 7 років тому +99

      Just logically and factually, a weave or makeup isn't altering your physiology, its altering your external, dead hair strands and essentially painting ones face is not in any realm of comparative analysis in the same as undergoing a surgery but, nice try I guess. Not hating on her or you, just a critique, make rational arguments, it'll help get your point across easier.

    • @HouseOfHaute
      @HouseOfHaute  7 років тому +53

      Actually dear, according to Bible (referring to the context that the majority of those type comments were based off of), altering your body period is wrong as far as the old testament is concerned. So yes, wearing makeup, weave, piercings and etc are all wrong. I don't live according to the Old Testament. The God I serve has given us Free Will, just as Amina stated above. So to reference your statement, it actually IS all the same just as no sin is greater than any others. They are all equal in the eyes of God. And for the record, if someone wants to take God out of the equation, then they are just left simply as a hater because under what "set of rules" sure would they be justifying their statements?

    • @wildfire_xo
      @wildfire_xo 7 років тому +62

      HouseOfHaute When did I referenced the bible or sin? Thanks for the scripture lesson, quite unnecessary. Look dear, "altering" your visual representation in any way will forever remain subjective, but as an academic, sorry to say but surgery alteration & makeup differentiation are not in any way comparative because they dont fall within the same categorization of analysis. There are different factors to put simply, you can accept the truth or not, we all have our own subjective reality so its a moot point, its whatever you choose to believe. That's why I said I was not hating on anyone, it was a logical critique. I guess people who can't discern a critique/dissent from hate will forever experience difficulty, unfortunate.

    • @HouseOfHaute
      @HouseOfHaute  7 років тому +31

      You jumped into the middle of an ongoing conversation. Their comments were religious based... that was what my initial response was relating to and then you jumped in with your opinions not aware of the entire context. Therefore your response wasn't warranted. Again regardless of any of that, your opinions are yours and mine belong to me.

    I had chills when she was talking about becoming conscious during surgery. What a nightmare. I had my tonsils out without any kind of anesthesia when I was 6, and I still remember that pain vividly. My body has always been naturally resistant to numbing agents and pain medications - thanks, Mom & Grandma! 😊 - and as a result, I'd been conscious during a number of procedures/surgeries when I should've been completely out. It's unimaginable.

    Yes waking up during surgery happens, that's why I always like to know all the steps, process, who will be involved, what are consequences so I know what to expect. I woke up during my ruptured appendicitis 2 weeks after giving birth to my first baby. I remember waking up, I was septic my intestines were in a tray, the smell was disgusting, the nurse freaked out, I remember the surgical crew scattering and calling to me. My husband thinks i had a near death experience, when I was in recovery the nurse looked unsettled when I woke up and asked her about what I saw, my Doctor friend ordered transcript a few months later and it did say I was resuscitated during surgery, so i woke up or was out of body, it was peaceful, not scary or painful, just odd. Took me 12 months to recover from infections and 18 months to heal my digestion, kidneys infected, gallbladder, it was one thing after another long difficult process, I'm glad I made it.

    As a medical professional I have heard of many people going through being awake but unable to communicate with the surgeon. The pain that results with this is unbearable and can cause PTSD for decades.
    One hospital, a small one, in my area, used EEG electrodes to monitor my brain activity while under anesthesia. If brain activity suddenly increases, it tells the anestheologost and nurse anesthetists that you have regained consciousness and are feeling pain. This significantly lowers the risks of the patients from excruciating pain during surgery. I believe that all hospitals and surgical centers need to use this with all patients undergoing general anesthesia.
    I'm very sorry that you went through the trauma and all that I can tell you is to see a psychologist or psychiatrist to help you to deal with PTSD.
    Thank you for sharing your experience.

    They are supposed to monitor your heart rate, blood pressure and what not...you would think with severe pain your heart rate will shoot up or something and the monitors would alert the doctors and then they would know something is wrong. So sorry you felt your some of your surgery 😔.

    I Had The Same Thing Happen To Me During A Permanent Tubaligation Surgery. Suppose To Be A Simple Surgery. However; I Became Conscious Felt The Digging, Nudging, Pulling Of My Fallopian Tubes. PAIN WAS EXCRUCIATING WORST THAN LABOR PAINS. Could Hear Nurses & Doctors Saying My BP Rising Too High. My Spirit Lifted Out My Body To Where My Other Children Were Visiting. I PRAYED To Most High Holy GOD & Finally Went Back Into My Body. Tried Moving & Talking BUT Couldn't. I Gave Up & Started Praying Again; Telling GOD My Kids Need Me & I Didn't Want To Die. Finally, Felt Very Warm Sensations Moving UP From My Toe To My Head. When The Warm Feeling Reached My Head, I Was Able To Immediately Open My Eyes. I Then Learned I Was In Recovery. My Surgery Started @ 12:00 Noon BUT It Was Now 3:00pm. Will NEVER FORGET This Experience In Life!!! 🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏

    Everyone, please take a moment to look at the highlighted comments made by Amber Lee & Tasha Hill clark.
    This is a prime example of what I do not & will not tolerate on this channel. Here you Amber starting off with a nice comment. It literally takes one idiot that has decided to make up a story about how she "KNOWS" I bleach my skin to sway Amber's little mind. Now we have two women loaded an d ready to start a vicious rumor about another black woman bleaching her skin.
    This is a perfect example of how NOT to be. This is a place of openness, inspiration and encouragement. We lift each other up and share our honest experiences with one another, not this bashing (because they will get drug back to their basement before getting blocked). lol No, seriously WE MUST do better and be better. DO NOT choose to take negativity into 2017. Live a better life and be the best version of yourself! I love you ladies! Happy New Year! xx ~Toni

    No honey that's the doctors fault the anesthesiologist has to monitor the drugs when they put you under. Constantly monitor you so they are sure you are under. That's why they have such big insurance policies with the hospital because if that person wakes up that hospital is liable. And that patient can win millions.

    I'm going to apologize now in advance b/c I am pissed 😤 off...LISTEN!! That's a damn LIE it's DEFINITELY the doctors fault. 1st oft..do you know how many doctors, nurses & care teams are in the OR? I do b/c I had to have a device implanted in my chest, so this was NOT an elective surgery it was a need to save my life in emergency situations where emergency medicine has to be given to me asap. Secondly, the reason I say it's the doctors' fault is that they can tell when you are becoming conscious b/c the anesthesiologist has an anesthetist that is in the OR when the anesthesiologist leaves the room. IDC, what excuse anyone comes up with...this should not have happened. The ENTIRE team in that room is monitoring heart rate along with respiratory factors to know if more medication needs to be administered. There is no excuse for this to happen.

    I had to go to the ED for constipation once after taking vicodin for my ankle. The doctor felt the situation and said "oh, that's a brick". She ordered morphine and even though the sharp pain was gone, the discomfort was unbelievable. After a few enemas and some stool softener it passed and I was out of there. I have had many other terrible experiences with my gut but what you shared just reminded me of that one time in particular.

      Hey Paige! I get what you're saying but that's not always true. Epidurals aren't usually used during these types of procedures. I've only had epidurals during labor/childbirth. I mean, but it is rare that this will happen to someone however the odds are a bit more greater than getting struck by lightening unfortunately. ;)
      I also don't want to frighten anyone. I simply just want to make you girls aware just in case it's something you're considering. It's all good though we are a sisterhood and there's a seat for everyone at our table.... well almost everyone: Minus the dimwitted trolls! LOL!! ;)

    You have never lied, you have two risk with anesthesia 1. You can wake up on the table 2. you can not wake up. There are so many things that can go on with anesthesia it's scary glad you made it throughout. Girl that constipation ain't no joke, I had a c-section twice and I was tight both times from all the pain killers I had to take. Ugh girl I am so glad you are okay.

      +MalikahBakir Hey Sis!! Girl so true! Thank you, I'm glad everything turned out to be ok! I had two c-sections as well. I also had constipation with them both. This go round was worse for me because the amount of pain I was in over all I think. I definitely took way more with this surgery than any other. Lesson learned though I promise you that! Lol 😊😘 Great to hear from you! Happy Holidays! ❤️

    I woke up in the middle of an upper and lower endoscopy and FREAKED OUT. I came to wide ass awake for some reason while on my side with 5 strangers in my face and a huge tube going down my throat. I immediately tried to rip it out, so they were yelling at me to stop. Then one of the men wrapped his arms around me and held me down tight till I was knocked out again. It happened quick and I was knocked back out in less than a minute!

    Im sorry this happened to you. I woke up during a procedure and I blame the anesthesiologist. He/she is there to monitor us the entire procedure. Your heart rate elevates when youre in pain. They should be paying attention. Not a reason to change doctors but IMO and experience its a combination.

    This happened to me during my BBL. It was during lipo on my back. I understand your tears because of how scary it was for me. It was like having an out of body experience because all I could do was open my eyes, the Doctor saw my eyes open and was like “Oh she’s awake”. Less than 5 seconds the lights were out again. It wasn’t painful but the pulling and tugging that was going on was creepy. I was so relieved he noticed I was awake because I couldn’t imagine having to be awake any longer than the 10 seconds I experienced. Thanks for co signing this experience because I knew I wasn’t crazy.

    I feel so bad for anyone having constipation. I go multiple times a day regularly. The longest I was ever backed up was 4 days and I was so miserable and didn’t know what to do, I tried everything. Thank GOD my ex at the time told me about suppositories. It is the ONLY thing that worked, and within a few hours! It’s a shame people will suffer through it because it’s embarrassing or TMI, but I tell everyone and anyone who has this issue, and it’s the only thing that helps!
