I like the reviews. I think you guys were fair in the assessment of what the intended use of these paddles is (inexpensive starting point set) and gave them a good test to show performance. i know most of us that watch are probably well past the starting point of a first paddle, but its great to show players just starting out what they can get for their money and how much entry into the sport will cost them.
Thanks for reviewing some of these inexpensive paddles! Not everyone feels comfortable forking out $150. for a paddle that they are just starting with and these paddles are meant to fill that niche. The fact is a pro player could do extremely well with either of these, that is obvious by how many times they change sponsors. It's not as much the paddle as who is holding the paddle. With paddles the point of diminishing returns comes quickly.

What paddle would be similar to the mx-06 but with a slightly longer handle and less head heavy? I’m new to pickleball and have this paddle but definitely need a little more grip space.

There are two fellows in our regular group who use the second paddles. They are 3.5-4.0 level players and fine these paddles are fine.
