Great video! I don't know why there aren't more reviews like this. Straight to the point and informative at every sentence.

What nozzle do you need to use when setting an unloader?

Thanks for the video. This is the only video I could find that showed how to reset the pressure on the Annovi Reverberi unloader. Other manufacturers use different procedures.

2 Questions. My 3800/3.5 pressure washer has about a 20% difference between the trigger being pulled and released. I understood that it needs to be around 6-9% to prevent the "hammering" effect on the pump. The best I can do is lower the pressure to 3,100 so when I release the handle it spikes to 3,800. Is this acceptable? Also, is the engine supposed to be running at full throttle? They say to run it at 3,700 rpms. Are the stop screws set to that from the factory? It's a Honda GX270 with a AAA pump.

Did you ever find the answer? Mine does this exactly

@@Mvnmata nope. I just run it as is & control the difference in pressure by reducing throttle. It's seems to be getting worse, but works just fine really. I've heard it's the brand of pump not being high quality.

I have a 4400psi 4 gpm Triple AAA pump also. Mine seems to have so much pressure build up after you let go of the trigger and go to squeeze the trigger again. You literally need to hang on and brace yourself because when you squeeze the trigger it kicks back like a high power rifle. I hate it being like this.

So the dangers in having incorrect pressure are the valve caps sheering the threads and flying off given you have a 10,000 psi hose and equally rated spray gun?

I have a gx690 3500 psi should I set the gauge to 3500 psi? What's the point in the gauge why not just leave it at 3500 psi

The rated pressure of the unit is generally going to be the average pressure between working pressure and bypass pressure. When you have the trigger pulled, and water is flowing, the gauge should read 3200psi. When you let the trigger go, It should spike to about 3700 lbs. That said, I cannot say with certainty that this is how that specific manufacture sets the pressure on their units.
