The church IS inclusive to ALL sinners because nobody is sinless. However, we're not supposed to live in blatant sin. God's design for humanity does not include homosexuality and the bible makes that clear. If church bends the rules and says it's okay, they're a false church. If God forgives you but you refuse to change and turn from sin it's very disrespectful to God.
Hey, thanks for commenting and engaging with my content. What you are saying here doesn’t quite sit well with me, but I am struggling to articulate why. I’ll give it a go, my experience with Jesus and conviction of sin is that he shows me what sin is. Conviction of sin can mean - to be shown the truth of it. I believe this happens through his Holy Spirit with me. I don’t think we just look at the Bible like it’s a set of moral instructions or a rule book, and follow it. I see the Bible as more of a guide. A lot of people see sin as external actions. But God has shown me it is a condition of the heart, and my convictions are always at the motivational level. I suppose what I am trying to understand is, if being gay is a sin, why would the Holy Spirit not convict me like he does with all other sins? It’s probably not something you can answer, but I’m here to engage :)
They say it's not part of God's plan, but when you already have a big family the last thing you need is more procreation. What you really need is an extra pair of loving hands to keep take care of the family you already have. There are so many people, both straight AND gay that are not able to bear children, but there are still plenty of children who need loving homes.
Great video! I love what Matthew says about worldviews and that we all have to choose one.
He’s good hey 🤙
