Sorry for late reply.. Between the two supra-orbital margins , the squamous part of the frontal bone extends downwards as the nasal part like a serrated notch which is the nasal notch. It articulates on each side with the nasal bone , frontal process of maxilla & lacrimal bone. On the other hand, the ethmoidal notch is situated between the two orbital plates which is occupied by the cribiform plate of ethmoid.
