    • How to Make Gyerranmar...
To assemble the sandwich, add pesto to some bread and toast it on the pan. Add gyerranmari, a little more pesto, sliced tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Add some fresh cracked black pepper before serving.
    Tofu Stir Fry:
1 to 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 box extra firm tofu, sliced into triangles
    1/2 cup sliced carrots
    1/2 cup chopped green beans
    1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
    1 tablespoon minced garlic
    salt and pepper
    2 tablespoons gochugaru
    1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown rice syrup (or maple syrup)
    1 tablespoon mirin
    2 tablespoons corn starch
    1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
    1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
    2 tablespoons chopped scallion greens
    1. Add EVOO to pan over medium high heat. When the oil begins to shimmer, add the tofu slices. Cook until both sides are golden brown (around 5 to 7 minutes on each side). Remove the tofu from pan and set aside.
    2. Add a little more EVOO and then add all the vegetables and garlic. Season with a little salt and pepper and cook for approximately three minutes, until onions begin to grow translucent.
    3. Mix together the gochugaru, soy sauce, brown rice syrup, and mirin. In a separate bowl, mix together corn starch with 1/4 cup water (this is a slurry).
    4. Add the seared tofu back the pan and mix together with veggies. Add the sauce, followed by the corn starch slurry. Stir until sauce thickens.
    5. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds, a little toasted sesame oil, and scallion greens.
    Egg Pancake
Add 1/2 tablespoon of EVOO to pan, followed by 1/3 cup of JUST Egg over medium heat. While the JUSTEgg is cooking, add your fillings: I added ribboned perilla leaves, slices of Field Roast sausage, pickled burdock root, pickled daikon radish, julienned carrots. When the JUSTEgg has started to turn brown on the bottom (around 3 to 4 minutes), gently slide your spatula under the entire "pancake." The JUSTEgg should easily pull off--if it sticks, it means it's not fully cooked yet. Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

I watched a video by someone last year that said Just Egg was made with lentils. I meant to buy it and see how it tastes. I'm taking this as a "friendly reminder" to do so. Instead I bought a large bag or red lentils to use in my many, many attempts to make lentil crackers that do not have canola oil in them, become too brown, get bitter and do not taste "floury." I haven't been successful in that though. Btw, your dishes always look delicious.

Actually JUSTEgg is made with mung beans! Not lentils. :) I love lentils though!

Hate the Hex Clad commercial. I didn’t come here for that. And they heat too quickly and everything sticks in them. My tofu doesn’t stick to my 1910 cast iron skillet. Anyway, the commercial turned me off from the channel. 😂

yeah idk the pans seem great but idk if I wanna buy them and thus support gordan ramsy, someones who's made fun of vegan/vegetarian's for years. also like how is he is supposed to be the most talented/famous american chef in the world, able to make all these different cuisines and he doesn't know how to make a good seitan? or like good vegan food in general it seems? a lot of his vegan recipes are like way too time involved and seems like some intern created them not he himself

I feel ya on that. That guy is a load of crap at times. But at this point he is a conglomerate, a franchise, that supports the livelihoods of hundreds beyond him. If you particularly like a product that you'd use daily, like cookware, I don't think it needs to get twisted into moral dilemmas compared to decisions that directly kill or hurt other beings.
