Chloe and Denis are just great yet humble filmmakers, I love their films and I absolutely love them as human beings more after this interview. Stay humble guys, you’re giving us hope that humanity and filmmaking can live together inside one body and soul.

Wow that's so cool to have them together. They both have that same direction style that is so detailed but so large in scope visually and conceptually.

The spacing guild have to be in Messiah, they can't make it about Bene Gesertit because Jessica isn't even in the book. I think that could make up for the mention of the guild being absent from part one and two. As for the Mentats, that's unfortunate all those details were removed, maybe Duncan's return can help with that.

Book readers who do not make films often do not understand how to craft a film to tell a story. You do not have to watch the movie. Stick with the book.

great film but damn it is wild that he's not afraid to say "jihad" in this interview but not in the film itself

The film needs to be able to be shown world wide. This interview may be seen by 5% of the world.

Chloe would be a great choice to continue Denis' legacy when adapting Children of Dune as well as having a similar contemplative sensibility to his.

Have you seen Eternals? That film proves that she is not the filmmaker for a big scale IP like Dune.

@zooropa5722 On the contrary, young lady. She can develop very well-made action scenes and be intimate as well, now she just needs a top script, if it's with Jon Spaiths she's in profit

Eternal is the only film of the latest MCU that doesn't look nor feels like a product. She going on the Sci-fi route would be more than fantastic.

Chani, who trains Paul, trains with Paul and dates Paul... has now been written to vocally rail against the prophecy linked to Paul that she thinks will doom her tribe. Who cannot see Chani's split personality and histrionic behavior?

Are we going to ignore Paul basically did the same thing with his believes of colonization of the Fremen. If someone slowly being less satisfied in a relationship is mental illness idk what to say to that.😂

You clearly do not know how to watch a film and understand it. The Freman from the south. Believe in the prophecy that is being spread by the bees in the south. The Freman in the north have never believed in the prophecy and do not know. Chani is a fighter and her orientation has nothing to do with believing that a bunch of white guys can show up and run her country. You probably have not read about this much, but DenisV reminds us that the author of the books did not see Paul as a hero and felt that unfortunately initially the readers of the books and I think those who see the first two films see Paul is a hero and he is not. Chani is correct. Paul is the result of the Bene Gesserits crossing bloodlines trying to create a leader and a man who could still be controlled by Bene Gesserit, in this case Paul by his mother.

because both Paul and Chani are human and have character arcs. That's how stories work.
I know the book well don't worry.
