This is good news for me as i was hoping for a (affordable) alternative to flying between Rome and Amsterdam. Now if i find a reasonable ticket from Munich to Amsterdam i will definitely do this. I liked the video too, pleasant to watch! When i saw the capsule beds i instantly thought too small but if you found it doable i should be fine!
@@to_loww I know. But we are talking about €25 so they can take the time they need. I know that they are a lot slower than Deutsche Bahn. A fellow UA-camr had to wait six months.
Train demand is quite less in Rome Tiburtina comparing to Rome Termini. However, if you go to Tiburtina bus station, it is way much busier. I would love to try these new NightJet carriages myself at some point.
Could you have booked a connection ticket for the ICE? I remember seeing this option on the Nightjet website but have not tried it. That way, you wouldn't have the risk of missing the ICE connection.
I read the same. This makes sense also for the emercency exit: if you remove the plastic thing in the middle, and then break the glass, a person can easily fit through the window.
1:46 White tracks reflecting the sun… 18:19 The Swiss and Austrian Railways paint their rails too and if I’m right informed it was the ÖBB who had the idea first .
Too claustrophobic for me. I would never even consider booking one. I’m also not going to book the Airbus 380 either due to its really small windows!. What is wrong with designers today? This “thing” you travelled in is ridiculous.
Such an amazing video! Also love that you were watching Modern Family haha- great choice!
Have to try this one! Nice video 👌
I wonder if the runner at 1:50 was trying to a train arrival shot
@@rocazon yes he was. I saw his video a couple of days later.
Very cosy and pleasant Video 🙂
@@observer1704 thank you very much
Great video, I really enjoyed it! Greetings from The Netherlands.
@@barendnu thank you very much neighbor 😃
The tracks are white because of the slightly high temperatures in Roma during summer. Thing they would easily "melt" down! :D
@@AviaMax 100 points 😃
Melting is not a problem. Thermal expansion and bulging is.

Well you can buy a interrail/eurail pass for about 2xx euro, then reserve the slot for NJ or high speed trains, sound very interesting
Super Video 👍
Great vid! One question. Did OBB give any compensation for that huge delay?
@@IndianGeek5589 not yet.
But it has been only a week since the trip
@@Reens-Rails Due to the recent natural disaster, this could probably take longer. Almost all trains in Eastern Austria were cancelled.

A youtuber report of the early kick-out when travelled in this line, hopefully everything is ok to you
It's white because of the thermal expansion, it obviously occurs from heat and the heat is attracted by black color, thats why the rail is white.
The windows aren't that small. You and your neighbour share the same window pane.

@@barendnu The divider is attached to the glass. If you break the window, the divider is free to move.

i love night trains, i just cant justify the amount of delays that these trains get… im kinda dissapointed ngl

Have you ever slept in a tent? Because this is more spacious than a tent.
