Hi, can you please help. I bought a XS03-WX model 2nd hand WiFi smoke alarm from eBay.
I successfully connected with X-Sense home security app.
Problem is its giving alarm randomly in 10 to 30 minutes but there is no smoke.
Can you tell me why it's randomly giving out alarm without any smoke. Anyway to fix it?

Hi! Do you know if is it possible to add a trigger when the smoke is detected? I.E: turn on the kitchen's light.

Using the Tuya app, if the other devices are connected you can say if xx device status changes then do this.
So if the fire alarm status changes then turn on light. But both devices - light and alarm, have to both be in the Tuya app.

You’ll still have the audible siren from the actual smoke detector. Not to mention that each smoke detector interacts with the others. So if the fire is on the other side of the house, the smoke detector in your bedroom will go off too. So you should be fine even if your phone is silenced.

Looks like they stopped the XS01-WT, now its a XS01-WX with their own app, so not Tuya, no Alexa or HomeAssistant

My dector will not connect to wifi tried everything disabling 5g rebooting router nothing will work

Odd. I’d give a detailed explanation to their support team for that one. I can only show you how it worked for me.

It wasn't possible to disable 5G on my phone or netgear router so what I did was temporarily disable SSID broadcast on my 5G network (advanced settings). Once I had successfully linked my smoke alarm to the app I re-enabled SSID broadcast for my 5G network. Hope that helps!
