He has it all and what a band to have showcased that talent with. They did nwobhm style, experiment metal, prog rock, sophisticated aor. Very technical tasteful player
Body Mechanics absolutely my favorite album is the warning but this classic Demo album was truly there first recording! I believe it was only 5 tracks.
Body Mechanics I feel like Michael Wilton never get the credit he deserved. ....Chris Degarmo got it all. Yes he was awesome but Michael was awesome as well!
@@chrismartinelli3756 that EP had my mind so blown when it came out, I wore that thing down to smooth vinyl!!! Then when “The Warning” hit it set the bar too high!
When I first heard this album, this song in particular, I thought "it cannot get better or heavier than this!" This is one of the greatest metal songs in history. I'm mostly into punk and hardcore, but bands like Queensryche helped get me there. I was honored to see Queensryche in the early-mid 80s, one of the best arena concerts ever!
I remember when their first EP came out....It really took metal fans by surprise. We were used to basic NWOBHM riffing but besides Iron Maiden, not much in the way of sophisticated, technical songwriting that still rocked.
I was born in 2003... So 19 years after this live performance ^^' and I only known them for 2 years I think. My uncle is so lucky to have seen them live and to have grown up listening to them when they were at their best!
Thank God for this footage. Saw this tour in San Diego February 1985, with a hot blonde UCSD co-ed (are you reading this Valerie?). Queensrÿche blew KISS completely off the stage.
Radonjic Dragan > The song in my taste, when I *listen to my hair* , I'm hung on my head still An incredibly good live version of this song. *Geoff* is a phenomenal singer ! ... I have this concert on VHS
I remember seeing QR open up for Metallica back in 88& ryche just blew them away it wasn't a contest! I love Metallica but ryche just showed up and said what's up!! I saw this tour and rage for order as well too ryche 4 life 🤘🤘
WtF , where did you get this famous famous thing of Rock History from ? it`s insane , my favourite Songs; from the best Band s in the World and i`m sitting here and drink and watch Videos , what`s wrong with me ? must be COVID ;THANKS FOR THAT

It's this show that got me into Queensrÿche back in October 2013 :D When I finally found a proper VHS transfer (this one), I was stunned at the quality when comparing it to the old versions floating on UA-cam (which also used the horribly compressed 2003 tracks).
Man, Tokyo got a gift for the metal ages that night ! Band hittin on all cylinders and sounding like the studio versions with that live power i would def pick this night if i had a time machine
Scott is hands down one of the best drummers in the world.

Thoroughly deserving of that monster kit.
He has it all and what a band to have showcased that talent with. They did nwobhm style, experiment metal, prog rock, sophisticated aor. Very technical tasteful player

One of Tate's overlooked master pieces of vocal work is on "Before the Storm ".
Totally agree!!!

Scott Rockinfield is a master percussionist. One of the best. Queensryche from Bellevue WA. Are the product of extensive practice and research. ✌
That actual kit sold on EBay a few years ago!

Thank God for this footage. Saw this tour in San Diego February 1985, with a hot blonde UCSD co-ed (are you reading this Valerie?). Queensrÿche blew KISS completely off the stage.

It's a crime to dislike Geoff's vocals. Who are those 6 people?
I Like there late 80s music but wish they kept the Power Metal sound .

Nobody, but NOBODY had the vocal prowess of Tate in his prime.
