- It's been five years since a fire nearly destroyed France's iconic Notre Dame cathedral, but rebuilding work on the historic landmark is almost completed, thanks in part to the efforts of an American craftsman.

How much of the carpentry required is being done by hand with period tools and techniques, and how much is being done with modern power tools? It seems like it would take many years to do all the carpentry by hand.

Well, in France he will have plenty of opportunity to exercise his skills, the food is great and there is universal healthcare.
Not to mention, there would be another opportunity for him to do his thing in Copenhagen, since their historic Stock Exchange building burned down.
I mean live in country living in fear due to the current gun violence, or go to another one with great healthcare?
as many interviews this guy has given I'm not sure how he's had time to complete any work.
