Girl Im on this ride with u ahhaha. i BEEN FOLLOWING YOU SINCE YOUR FIRST HAIR VIDEO becaue my hair IS EXACTLY LIKE YOURS. I think we're onto something with this new Chelating shampoo because it makes sense. I live somewhere where the water is very hard and it may take more of a toll on some of us! I'm going to buy one today!
If you live in a place with hard water look into the brand Malibu c they are a salon professional brand they have a lot of products a whole line for hard water they are known for their buildup removing treatments.
How long had you not been using heat on your hair for before sending the strands? It could be that the ends are just the last of the hair that was there when you used heat last. I’ve not used heat in about 3 years but my ends are still quite damaged from when I did!
the ends are always going to be more porous than the roots, it’s completely normal because they get less of the protective oils, have been outside the scalp for longest, and accumulate wear and tear from daily living even if a person does everything in the book to protect their hair. the more times your hair goes from dry to wet to dry again, the more the porosity will be impacted.
Do not forget that you did a chemical procedure to straighten your hair so it's normal that the ends you didn't cut off show damage. I always suspected the only way to get your hair back was by chopping off the chemically treated part but you never wanted to do that Edit: guys, I'm not trying to attack Isabella at all, it is completely understandable that she didn't want to trim that much because she never liked to have her hair short like she said; what I'm trying to say is that it's normal they found her ends damaged while newer hair was much healthier. That damage can't be completely reversed
Agreed. I burned my hair onetime with my straightener (didn’t realize it was broken) and had to repeatedly chop off the damage. It’s really the only way to get my hair healthy.
The ends of your hair have been about 4 years in your head, so if you sent the strands a year ago those ends are about 5 to 6 years old. It’s crazy how long our hair has been with us, maybe that gives you a better idea of how many or little times you used heat on it!
They can’t differentiate between “heat damage” and natural wear and tear :) think brushing your hair, hair rubbing on clothes, windy days, having the heating on etc.
I mentioned the strong possibility of hard water being the cause of her frizz last year but people saying she knew it wasn't that. Seems not. Sun damage can also cause a lot of cuticle damage and frizzing, it doesn't have to be from hair dryers or heat tools. That's why sunscreen for hair is so important in Summer.
@@will2778 I do it once in the morning and that's good enough unless I stay out all day. I'm not neurotic about it 😁 I live in Ireland much of the year so not much sun here anyway lol

@@elenaautumnalmermaid6913 oh no it's not the same; a chelating agent is used in tiny amounts in all products to catch metallic ions for preservation purposes, but what she's talking about is an actual shampoo that chelates the buildup from all your hair which sound amazing as a clarifying shampoo.
Yes that made me giggle 🤭. I only know how to pronounce it because it’s also a medical term for a process to help people get over heavy metal exposure (like mercury or lead.)
water and humidity cause worse damage than heat. with cgm you constantly rewet your hair, which is way more damaging than using heat, but it does the same thing to the cuticle. they probably assumed it was heat because most girls use a ton of heat, but water is really bad too.
actually, it's not about the amount of acv, it's all about your water.the only way to know how much to use is by using pH strips for example, to check the pH of your rinse. i don't remember but it should be acidic at like 4 or 5, to nicely close the cuticle.
I have followed you some years now because of your hair journey and I just wanted to say that wow, this hairstyle looks SOO good on you!!! Like seriously, damn, the glamour👌🏻👌🏻 *chef's kiss*
I saw that too, but I think (from how I read it) it mostly applies to individuals with insanely thick hair or curly hair who’s hair takes all day to dry. I have very thin hair and mine will dry within 2 hours, so then it’s beneficial to hair dry.
I think really depends on the porosity and density of your hair. High porosity and dense hair may not air dry as well causing your hair to be wet for a long period of time which can lead to fungus growing in your scalp (we all have fungus on our scalp but too much causes scalp issues). When I air dry, I still try to move my head around or I will air dry for an hour and then go in with the diffuser. Also going outside with wet hair in cold weather is definitely a no no. It causes the water in our hair to freeze and expand which can lead to breakage. It’s not necessarily more damaging, just in different ways
For the Heat damage, whats about showering? Do u shower hot? Because that can contribute to Heat damage too. Especially at Winter i Like showering hot, But i still wash my Hair First With only warm Hair, and when i Turn the shower on hot, i make it Low enough so my Hair is Safe :)
This is the prettiest hair/makeup look I've ever seen on you girl! So gorgeous. Also this video is super interesting.. makes me want to get my hair analyzed too
As someone with low porosity hair i am not surprised that you have it not that it is giving you problems. Low porosity hair needs entirely different care than normal hair
In terms of the Joico shampoo, that particular silicone is water soluble, which means it doesn’t cause any build-up at all - the reason silicones cause build up normally is that they aren’t easily soluble, and require a strong surfactant to remove. It’s used in a shampoo like this because it keeps your hair from becoming so tangled that you can comb through it after stripping off all the slippery things that are normally left behind on your hair.
I really think you have some kind of thing going on with your hormones. The fact that your hair started turning wavy at 21 out of nowhere (Most people start getting wavy hair through puberty or pregnancy if they didn't have it already). Then also your hair appeared 'heat damaged' even though it's not. Your hormones can damage your hair or make it appear damaged. Also, all the frizz and dryness you are talking about that can't seem to be solved by products alone. I have issues with hormones myself (I've been diagnosed as well) and some of these are signs, in my opinion, that your hormones could be affecting your hair. Especially the one about your hair going wavy at 21. Hair texture changes are usually caused by hormone changes.
This was so interesting! Felt very familiar I was really hating my hair and did CGM for years and now I’m just inbetween, using heat and same products. Important to have fun with your hair but also try to look after it best you can and it not feeling like a chore! Love this 80s inspired hair 🤩
can i just say how nice it is to see how happy you are with your hair now :) I've struggled with my hair for years as well and finally decided that I'm gonna use heat on my hair so I can enjoy the way it looks. your hairstyle looks really cool. love your videos Isabella
I knew it was about the water!... On another note I loveeee how passionate you are about trying to find out what causes your hair to behave a certain way. I bet it must have been a frustrating journey, I myself as a passionate person about certain things have gotten comments from random people like ''why are you so stuck on about this, just move on, just don't bother with it etc...''. But to me being so passionate about something like this even though other people might think it is a minor thing that doesn't deserve a lot of attention and so might not understand, is very inspiring! Someone else might have given up but even though you now consider using things like heat styling and not caring too much about your own hair a lot you still keep searching new stuff about hair, and thanks to you we keep learning about hair as well! Thats an amazing thing!
OMG! A bit unrelated to the video, but girl you’ve unintentionally saved my scalp and life!! I’ve never even heard of the ingredients mentioned at 4:09 until now and it perfectly explains why for the past 2-3 years I’ve had terrible scalp itchiness that isn’t dandruff. Just about every product i use (including my “soothing” scalp lotion) has both of those ingredients!!! Thank you so much! 🙏
In many of your videos i suspected you needed to clarify and said many times but nobody listened lmao i clairfy my hair every 3-4 washes and my hair is sooo healthy and long. And i dye my hair . Just for the hell of it i want to do this to see my results. Thanks for sharing girl :) hope your new hair journey exceeds you to your goals 💜
I thought of something. The sun damages hair. So it would have been from the sun. Weird because most shampoos I've tried throughout my entire life contain silicones. It's very common. But yeah I agree it's weird they would recommend a shampoo with silicone in it if you have build up. Your hair is beautiful by the way.
I think you seem like a very nice person that I would love to hang with! Your laughs and the end where you show us your eye make up are so cute. And when you said you where frustrated with the heat damage thing I could feel that. Don't be hard on yourself and keep having fun with your hair from now on! I also wish you a lot of other fun, successful years on your channel. You're great at what you're doing!
Interesting… I’m currently studying to become a cosmetic chemist, and we’ve been taught that all shampoos should always contain a chelating agent to balance out any hard water issues, just only in a very small quantity (talking 0.1-0.2%). Funny how the things you learn in lectures and the things that are done in practice aren’t the same!!
Chelating is pronounced "KEY-late-ing" and I look forward to the video about it probably coming up! Also I liked the eye look today, in closeup it looks very painterly and artistic. As far as hair, the soft ringlets and waves are lovely on you! (Also I don't want you to take this as criticism but I know I would want someone to tell me if it was me. If you get any more lip filler you are probably going to get the "mustache shadow" effect where your top lip border casts a shadow behind it and leaves perma-darkness on the top lip. It's super common and the only way to fix it is let the lips go down. I can see the very slight beginnings in you now so if you go any bigger I think it will be obvious. FWIW I don't think you need the filler AT ALL, you have a natural youthfulness and cuteness that doesn't require full lips. I watched your video about it and agree with a lot of your points and it's 100% your money, your body, your choice. I just wanted to warn you that I think that top lip has gone as far as it should go because sometimes it can be hard to get that perspective for yourself.)
Hairstylist here, I think you’re under the impression that heat and mechanical styling is the only form of damage that you can receive. I’m my experience pH change is what actually causes uneven porosity. Research ph on hair.
It can be avoided but using products properly. Like if you shampoo, you should condition do lower the pH of your hair. Also, chemical processes like lightener, perms, and relaxers can increase the pH. Whenever the pH increases it swells and opens the cuticle, which is damaging. Also a lot of the time it’s a combination. Like not using a heat protectant ( lowers pH of hair strand ) before heating tools.
@@thaisonkesak7691 what are your thoughts about ph balanced products like the grey/silver line from redken? And what do you mean by your last sentence, does using heat protectant lead to ph damage?
Ur hair looks fab today! Regarding damage from styling your hair. Some people claim that constant air drying of ur curls can damage them too. Maybe hover diffusing on a medium heat setting would have been a gentler option. Manes by Mell has loads of advice on this. Also brushing amd such can cause damage too. The build up they mentioned could have been from general hard UK water and can explain why u did not get the desired results with the curly girl method. Maybe adapting it to ur hairs needs would have worked well. U seem to be doing good now :D Regarding heat damage: this would be the tip of ur hair so the damage of heat would be from many years ago and it has grown out over time. The few years of not using heat would not show at ur tips. They might show now though. It would be interesting to see what results u would get now. Cause ur curly girl efforts would likely only show now.
Reminder that heat damage can come from your body/scalp heat. Sun and water temperature can also cause some kind of damage on the long run Believe me i didnt really do anything to my hair but a few times in a year my hair near the nape would get weirdly coily. (My hair is mostly straight) I can only say its related to weather change and monsoon. So my body heats up a bit more and i also try to bath less bcs if i bath on a rainy day i can get cold and sick. Usually i just pluck these weird hair off because it gets itchy
I believe your hair might be coarse but aren’t dense. Areas where hair is less dense tends to experience damage more because it’s not protected by the rest of the hair all around. Si love your hair since you style it, it suits you
This is so interesting!!! I know nothing about hair, so this is a great watch :) also, I tested positive on Monday (Sunday night here), feeling good, but the slight congestion sucks!
I never use real heat on my hair (except for blow drying it like... 5 times a year? And that only takes like a minute each time, bcs I only do it on almost dry hair in winter if I have to be leaving and my hair is still slightly damp) and yet the hairdressers accuse me of excessively straightening my hair or sth, bcs it's very fine... It's also kind of like yours, neither curly or wavy nor straight.
3:55 Speaking as a curly girl, it is definitely possible that your hair was damaged by the diffuser. I started air-drying for the same reason; I thought I was so clever for never using straighteners or anything like that, but I still had these horribly dry, split ends that I had to trim regularly even though I was "only" using a diffuser, which I thought was necessary for curly hair. FYI, I was using heat protectant. Fast forward to after my last trim (September 2023, I think?), I stopped using any heat (and just finger-combed, but that's not that significant) and voila, no dry, split ends.
A nice and not that pricey chelating shampoo is Hair Cleansing Cream from Redken! This is a super gentle clarifying shampoo with chelating properties, it makes wonders for everybodies hair because it deep cleanses without stripping it, is colour friendly, it has low ph and helps removing heavy metals or calcarium from the hair. A perfect shampoo to use before a deep moisturizing treatment.
My hair has changed over the years. I put it down to hormones and stress. When I had a child, I lost a lot of hair, and ever after my hair was finer (each strand) as well as less dense (I no longer broke elastics due to how thick my pony tail was). During a period of bereavement after a death of a loved one, I started going gray, and some hair fell out. When it grew back, it was wavier. It's not changed for the last 15 years, so I think this is how it will be till I go completely gray. Gray is coarser. I think you do have wavy hair (2b, I think), and it's a matter of genetics how long and how fast your hair will grow. I had waist length straight hair for years, but I got tired of it and it's now a long bob.
girl needs lightweight leave-in products to add moisture back into her hair that wont weigh it down after showering, just saying. my hair looks just as dry and frizzy as hers until I use nourishing, light-weight leave in products and then my hair looks glossy and hydrated but not flat and greasy. I have fine hair and lots of it. her hair from her "healthy hair" days was probably really healthy, she just didn't know what healthy products to use to add back moisture into her hair. Leave-ins with nourishing ingredients that don't have heavy oils in the first five ingredients listed are pretty good. Also if you see something that has a watery or milk consistency, thats probably not going to weigh your hair down either. :) And then maybe a small amount of a heavier conditioner to seal in flyaways.
@@narayaniji8699 I live in Australia so I'm not sure what is accessible to you. Giovanni Leave In Treatment is pretty good. :) It's not a cream, it's a water-spray and it's nice and hydrating and because it's water.... it's not going to weigh your hair down unless you overdo it. Essano Leave-in Conditioner is also beautiful. I love how that makes my hair look. There's also Marc Daniels Henna Wax or Intense Chamomile Conditioner which are two very cheap multi-purpose conditioners that make beautiful leave-ins because it's mostly just flower extracts. Sometimes diluting a heavier product can help make it more light-weight so it won't weight down your hair, or even taking a teeny amount of a heavy product, spreading it from palm to fingertip and distributing it through the hair. Shea Moisture has a leave-in milk spray called Coconut Oil Daily Hydration that is still too heavy for my hair but makes it look s good and shiny so I diluted it with water and then it was perfect. I also layer a bunch of light-weight leave ins because sometimes one isn't enough and finish with a teeny bit of a heavier product to seal in frizz. It's also important that you're not already overstripping your hair of it's natural oils, so a gentle cleanser most of the time is important with a clarifying shampoo once in a blue moon to remove buildup. Deep conditioning the hair with animal fats also does wonders for hair shine and in my opinion does a much better job than plant oils like coconut, however you might be a vegan. But animal fats in my experience really do quench thirsty, dry hair. I use ghee, which is a clarified butter. It makes my hair look.... so soft and shiny that sometimes I don't even feel like I need leave-in conditioners. (Sorry for the rant, I know the struggle of having lots of fine hair that isn't curly and there being virtually no information on the internet for how to care for it)
@@SunburntComposer wow, I make homemade ghee, but it never once occurred to me to put it in my hair! I will try that. Which Giovanni leave in do you use? The shea moisture ones are definitely too heavy for me.
@@narayaniji8699 I hope it works for you! I tried it myself after watching Abby Cox's youtube video about how 18th century people would pomade and powder their hair and it would be super healthy because the pomade was made from animal fats. :) She suggested using lard or tallow but I had neither so I tried to ghee and it worked beautifully. I use the Giovanni Vitapro Leave-in Treatment. Depending on how dry my hair is, I might have to pair it with something else. But sometimes after using the ghee, I just use that tbh. I haven't had a chance to use the Giovanni leave-in conditioner but it looks like it'd be good. Yeah sheamoisture products are really heavy, if they weren't they'd be so good! :'(
Paul Mitchell Shampoo 3 is a chelating & clarifying shampoo, Kenra Clarifying Shampoo is for chelating & clarifying, Ouidad Water Works Shampoo also. Followed up with a good DT with heat, like heat cap or overhead hooded dryer. Also, I have very curly hair 3b that is very thick and mostly coarse texture(moderately coarse) with lots of canopy frizz. It is also low porosity at roots, low to normal porosity at midshaft, and normal porosity at ends. I did order the hair analysis that is mentioned in this video. Thank you, as MyManeBio discontinued and the Etsy one also discontinued.
I hear that you haven't used heating tools on your hair in a bit, and I saw other comments talking about hot showers and stuff that may contribute to that damage. BUT what about sun damage?? would it look the same? because of ALL the different types of light that the sun emits? do you spend a lot of time outside or ? just thinking
YES!!! and i think darker hair has better sun protection(melanin content and eumelanin may generate more sun protection) and light hair may have less sun protection(lesser melanin content and pheomelanins may have less protection) The sun can dry up and damage hair!
I believe the hair can be maintained in good condition without trimming. Because. In India, where I belong, in Sikh religion, they don’t cut there hair, they have lots of healthy fats in there diet of course. Mainly ghee. It’s a balanced nutrition all your life, that effects your hair. Like eating your green, fats, carbs. Everything. But as pure as possible. It’s just like your house plant, it blooms after years of care. I always had hair below my hip. Always cut it above my neck out of frustration of not being able to handle it. I can relate to you in the video when it comes to hair ends. I have extremely oily scalp, I don’t think anyone has more oily than mine. But my ends are like yours, sometimes. A blend of coconut oil(virgin), castor oil(ayurvedic or pure), and kesh king(an Indian brand) really helps. Castor oil gives my ends the moisture it ends. I m not a sponsor of kesh king, but have been using it for 10+ years. And can gladly say, it does help. It has oil, shampoo, and capsules. U can use all of u like. Using oil and shampoo together, gives your hair such a beautiful shine. I always get complimented for my hair. So just helping you all. Do try.
And to add my hair is a virgin hair. I have had only a few hair spas, occasional hair straightening and many blow dryings. I would love if anyone can share how they get rid of there flat hair. Because no matter how nice and healthy my hair is. It is always flat. It’s annoying really.
Did you try the chelating shampoo? I cant believe you havent tried a chelating shampoo in all this time!!!! It did WONDERS for my hair, it was so rough and dry before but a good clarifying, chelating shampoo fixed me up!!! The Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Shampoo is the best one for sure!!
As a hairstylist, I personally don’t like the joico shampoos especially if you are looking for a clarifying shampoo, I really like the Moroccan oil one!
I agree, your hair does look very pretty in this video. ♥️ Just out of curiosity, did you send in your hair samples before you got the Brazilian keratin permanent straightening treatment, or after cutting most of it off?
I gave up on sulfate-free shampoos when I started to use silicones again. I don't use SLS/ALS.. but I use SLES/ALES. Apparently laureth sulfate is much milder than lauryl sulfate. Even milder than some of the sulfate free options. I don't use shampoos with silicones or oils though.
I think the reason they're saying to use the joico, with it having silicone, is to not leave the hair totally stripped and give the hair some protection from wear, tear, and environment damage. FYI not my expert opinion, just seems most likely
I don't know if you are aware but the sun can cause quite serious heat damage, and styling damage can be from brushing ext, but thats unavoidable, hope that helps.
My hair seems to be like yours from what I can tell(although mine is dark warm blonde with some red tones in certain lighting) and it's also low porosity for sure, yet I have many fly-aways etc haha I love clarifying and chelating shampoos(made my hair look less red/rusty and dark(!) from the buildup lmao also more smooth, definitely works!) I use sulphates and silicons, chamomile rinses to bring out the blonde and gold and make it silky(my fave 🥰 been using it on and off since I was in elementary school, makes my hair really soft and shiny), a seb derm shampoo and I use heatless styling methods + blow-dryer/diffuser on low if I feel like it, lots of styling products if needed, only brush with my previously washed hands or sometimes a hair brush with flexible bristles afterwards, I rarely have split ends for some reason so my hair really is at its best when using heat and sulphates plus I get to enjoy it ☺️ It's down to my chest but idk how hair care is gonna change when it's even longer, right now I'm focusing on having a really healthy diet, enough water and sleep and all that. The curly girl method gave me seb derm and made me look like a wet dog a year in so I avoid those kinds of products
Have you ever tried Davines? I use shampoo oi and conditioner I use nounou. It literally makes my hair feel amazing and I have had many compliments, also it is PH balanced and doesn't have sulphates or parabens! It cost a fortune but when you buy in bulk it's cheap, literally, a pea-size amount of both will do my whole head! Sincerely someone who has been struggling with hair problems since high school!

Girl I was just thinking about you the other day because we have very similar hair types and I have been getting this Colombian treatment for a couple years now called cirugia capilar. It's a smoothing treatment and for me it lasts until I have to touch up my roots so around 6-9 months and it's not nearly as strong and doesn't take out as much volume as keratin. If you live in an urban area I recommend trying to find a group of Colombians on Facebook and posting to ask where they get theirs done (it's very common). I saw you had a bad experience with keratin and so I thought this might actually help you a lot :)
My low porosity hair tbh can really feel dry if i use protein more than once every 2 weeks. The acididy of my products and the hardness of my water kill more than heat too
Omg, that was soooo helpful!! Thank you for all your work❤️✨ My hair is maybe 95% like yours, so I know the struggle 😘 I'd love to hear back from you on how it's going after applying the recommendations. Last week I subscribed to the 14 days Hair care challenge of Sarah Tran (it popped up in my IG, you may know it) and there are some similarities in the information. Would you mind sharing a link? This is devastating if true 😨. I absolutely hate drying my hair
I saw that too, but I think (from how I read it) it mostly applies to individuals with insanely thick hair or curly hair who’s hair takes all day to dry. I have very thin hair and mine will dry within 2 hours, so then it’s beneficial to hair dry.
@@chelseahalliwell9533 The study says right there it was performed on a straight hair sample.
I am so intrigued by this! I am also so impressed by your willingness to just keep on learning about hair instead of feeling like a victim.
Also this video is super interesting.. makes me want to get my hair analyzed too
I agree!
This hairstyle looks so good on you!
What do you clarify with
I thought of something. The sun damages hair. So it would have been from the sun. Weird because most shampoos I've tried throughout my entire life contain silicones. It's very common. But yeah I agree it's weird they would recommend a shampoo with silicone in it if you have build up. Your hair is beautiful by the way.
I MISSED THE HAIR VIDEOS
Girl I recommend getting PRP sessions from your dermatologist for hair density..it literally changed my life as I was going through hair loss
Girl don't give up on em yet! We can do this ♡♡
The fact you said they never told you your hair’s texture… literally heard the word COARSE so many times 😅 that is your hair’s texture.
It might be a bit different components throughout different factories based on the location.
You suit your hair like this so much! Beauty 🥰
Exposing hair to the sun can cause heat damage as well.
Omagerd that hairstyle is awesome, looks super cool on you
You oook like an Italian Reinassance Painting ❤️❤️ like Raffaello, so beautiful
Hairstylist here, I think you’re under the impression that heat and mechanical styling is the only form of damage that you can receive. I’m my experience pH change is what actually causes uneven porosity. Research ph on hair.
How can I avoid ph change damage?
How can you prevent that?
@@sobean9309 I’d like to know too. Most conventional sulphate shampoos are at too high a PH for the hair and scalp.
U seem to be doing good now :D
Regarding heat damage: this would be the tip of ur hair so the damage of heat would be from many years ago and it has grown out over time. The few years of not using heat would not show at ur tips. They might show now though. It would be interesting to see what results u would get now. Cause ur curly girl efforts would likely only show now.
Your hair looks so pretty in the thumbnail
I 100% recommend a shampoo brush!!! however, a downside that I found was that my roots started getting greasier quicker.
even if you don't use heat, unless you trim it every 2-3 months the ends will damage.
I was just watching your dollskill clothing haul and then I got the notification for this video 😄
Reminder that heat damage can come from your body/scalp heat. Sun and water temperature can also cause some kind of damage on the long run
Believe me i didnt really do anything to my hair but a few times in a year my hair near the nape would get weirdly coily. (My hair is mostly straight)
I can only say its related to weather change and monsoon. So my body heats up a bit more and i also try to bath less bcs if i bath on a rainy day i can get cold and sick. Usually i just pluck these weird hair off because it gets itchy
off topic but you look gorgeous in this!!!!
Agreed!!
could the "heat damage" be from when you got a keratin treatment
I haven‘t watched the video yet. But your determination to get a grip on your hair is so funny to me I had to laugh. In the best way. Keep it up!
you can get heat damage from the sun too
And From hot showers
@@sophiebell4758 right
Can you make a video on how you styled your hair today? I love it!
Omg you look so gorg in this hair and makeup look
I recommend the nuetrogena anti residue shampoo that you can use once a week or every 2 weeks to remove any sort of product and dirt buildup.
I really think you could pull off a short style as in Bob length
I agree. She has such a beautiful face and nice eyes/ears that she can pull off any length from long to pixie cut.
I just now see this video of you! I love that you shared everything with us, thank you so much! Very interesting🙏🏻
I think it is best to focus on your scalp’s health first
Could the heat damage on the ends be from before you stopped using heat? It does take aaaaages to grow hair out completely
A perfect shampoo to use before a deep moisturizing treatment.
you look like a fairyy!! Especially with your beautiful eyeliner!!
Thanks for making this video and sharing your results! It was soo interesting and I learned quite a few things:) Also, you look gorgeous💛
Which leave in products do you recommend? I have hair like hers too.
All the leave ins I have tried made my hair too weighed down and greasy. Help!😊
Pleassseee do a video on all and any chelating shampoos you end up buying and trying out!! We wanna hear all about it! I love your videos
Posted 8 minutes ago? Staying up until 1.30am has its perks 😅
silicone quaternium-16 is water dispersible and according to many sources from just a google search will not cause buildup
What products have that ingredient?
@@narayaniji8699 The clarifying shampoo recommended to her.
omg your hairstyle!!!! :O
My favorite chelating products are the Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Treatment and Malibu C Hard Water shampoo. Gets the job done 👍🏻
Some silicones are somewhat permeable and/or water soluble so they won't build up as much as other silicones or occlusive agents such as oils
Hair at the ends tend to dry not only by heating tools but the sun and other factors as well
I agree, your hair does look very pretty in this video. ♥️
Just out of curiosity, did you send in your hair samples before you got the Brazilian keratin permanent straightening treatment, or after cutting most of it off?
I love your makeup x
I gave up on sulfate-free shampoos when I started to use silicones again. I don't use SLS/ALS.. but I use SLES/ALES. Apparently laureth sulfate is much milder than lauryl sulfate. Even milder than some of the sulfate free options. I don't use shampoos with silicones or oils though.
I think the reason they're saying to use the joico, with it having silicone, is to not leave the hair totally stripped and give the hair some protection from wear, tear, and environment damage.
FYI not my expert opinion, just seems most likely
the sun can also do heat damaged to you hair
I don't know if you are aware but the sun can cause quite serious heat damage, and styling damage can be from brushing ext, but thats unavoidable, hope that helps.
Οmg your eyeliner was BOMB
Which Davines shampoo do you use? I can't find a Davines called Oui.
@@narayaniji8699 Its Oi not Oui 😉 and its very gentle I used it before but its too expensive for me lol
Hey Isabella, love your videos and your eyeliner 😉 Hormone change in the body can also change the texture of hair (best exampleis pregnany). And also your protein intake ist ofcourse important also for your hair. ☺️
The sun causes heat damage too!
You know saaameeeee, lately my hair has been very shaggy like with baby hairs and very idk the word just messy in general, even if I comb it and I don’t really use anything on my hair like heat and other chemicals ☹️
so excited
The acididy of my products and the hardness of my water kill more than heat too
your hair is so cute!! how'd you do it?
Women u need ur own hair care brand n I will buy it! I would trust you with my hair
I love your videos so much Isabella
You inspire me so much
The silicone in the joico shampoo is water soluble
Omg, that was soooo helpful!! Thank you for all your work❤️✨ My hair is maybe 95% like yours, so I know the struggle 😘 I'd love to hear back from you on how it's going after applying the recommendations.
Last week I subscribed to the 14 days Hair care challenge of Sarah Tran (it popped up in my IG, you may know it) and there are some similarities in the information. I still haven't finished it, we're about to be tought how to create our own shampoo. I may update this later to tell you guys how my hair is feeling after it.
Also, love, make sure to supplement with vit D, copper and zink because of the Covid (in case you don't already).
