Nice to see the MuhFreebrams going strong lol
Would love to see an update of the casualties at the beginning of the next video. I feel like you've been shredding them but they just have endless hordes!
Realistic Soviet OpFor Experience
I found my Abrams do their best work with Bradley support. Bradley's bring the ATGM and anti-infantry support while Abrams brings the bulk.
Yeah you can put 1 Bradley in your group of like 3 abrams and they work well, or you can use like 4 abrams (3 normal 1 ACAV) and that also works well too
If you're on the defense, mixing them in almost 50/50 is still pretty effective. You just need to keep logi around to feed them more TOWs. The extra range of the TOW helps take away first shot advantage that the Soviets often have from their tank launched missiles. Helicopters can perform the same role, you just have to micro them more. I wish the 155 howitzers were more potent against armor in game, in real life they're very good at killing tanks.
@@LewisB3217 My gosh, we've rediscovered the concept of a platoon ;)
In real life, Abrams were made to work alongside Gavin APCs. Bradleys were a worthless “wunderwaffen” that enriched some and is currently getting many brave Ukrainians killed due to its ineffectiveness.
@chriskerwin3904 I have found that 4 155mm howitzers will down medium and light tanks reliably, and damage and stress out heavy tanks.
Pact commanders when T-80BVs are not immune to being sideshot while driving down a narrow road in a straight line:
😠
This campaign is going to have me deep inside Red Storm Rising again before long I just know it
I'm loving this series so far! Keep up with your awesome Warno wins and your great commentary!
Nice to see that the pact ai uses modern day Russian tactics!
Modern russian tactics are The same as The soviet tactics of The cold war 😂 they don't study better things
The Battle of Kursk just got experienced anew just not with the Germans but in Germany and 46 years later😂
its crazy how good you are at reading a map (pre battle) and anticipating enemy movements
Really happy to see this back, loving the series! Would request a look at the losses screen in the next episode, would be interesting to see how its developed
It's super fun to fight Soviet TankWaves in Army General. It's especially hard with just mechanized infantry battalions(without tanks..)
I really like this series. I played previous Wargame titles really much long time ago and your videos might convince me to give WARNO a try. Keep up o/
Man, that opening engagement was savage
Yeah, IAP for Istrebitelny AviaPolk (Fighter Aviation Regiment), with only AA, IShAP - AA + Bomb/Rocket, ShAP or BAP - only bomb/rocket
The next couple of turns are going to be extra spicy.
these video's have become my new favorites.
Abraham goes brrr
im so excited for the other perspective, i just hope that you plan to play the pact side aswell.
i just started my first army general campaign without too much experience in the game and i feared i was being too reliant on the abrams spam. Glad to see it was not too much of a noob move
It says something about the initial attack in the first battle that you nearly won by moral before you won with a +5 victory point tick.
I think the best way eugen could make elite difficulty much harder and more engaging is by disabling the repair of units with supply(like in SD2)
I wish the AI didn't just advance them in columns instead of spreading out in lines, especially in big open maps. That's kinda the whole point of tracked vehicles is to be able to fight off the road
General question: are captured supply vehicles not persistent, as they were in Red Dragon?
Like you can bring them to another battle? No
Can you share you graphic settings?
Your explosions look wayy better than mine
3D Unit Scaling will be the main cause most likely.
Why do you mix acavs with abrams tanks? You do it for AT missiles or is there any other reason? I mean you have scouts anyway, so it is not for seight support, and Bradley while great isnt really that good as Abrams in AT sorties.
It's for situations where the scouts line of sight doesn't match up with the Abrams. In those cases having a higher optic unit next to the other Abrams is helpful.
@@VulcanHDGaming Thanks. I didnt think of that.
Abraham goes brrr
