As the saying goes, if the old doesn't go, the new won't come. It may be possible to replace the refrigerator door seal with a new one to maintain good cooling effect of the refrigerator.

Assuming that the seal gasket is magnetic, this will happen again where it gets pulled out of its groove. I'd assume that there is something oily/dirty in the groove and on the gasket so I'd clean it with some Windex first, and also clean the groove and dry it well before putting it back on as it will just keep happening.

Alive with bacteria, mold and stench! I once came in behind a bad renter who shut off the power do to non payment of the rent and utilities. Under law I had to wait 3 months for him to leave. In the mean time that frig was full of food and slowly rotting away. By the time I got inside to do things like clean up. That frig was TOXIC! I put on mask and glove and set up a fan to keep the stench out of the rest of the apartment. I then rolled the frig out to the back deck and emptied it. Then took the doors off and completely disassembled it. Each part was soaked in a solution of bleach and baking soda. I tuned it on its back and filled it like a bath tub with the solution and left it for a month. After killing all the bac-T, it still had a slight smell of rotten meat. I then sprayed it down with straight bleach and left it for another week adding more bleach periodically. Finally, the smell was gone. It was a very good frig before and I just didn't want to junk it without trying to cure the problem. I set it all back up in the kitchen and turned it back on and left it cooling for a week or so. It was back to life once again.

I tried using a hair blow dryer to warm it up and maybe I'll fall into place but it didn't work Now I know for the next one Can you also give us some tips of how to fix the fridge when the door doesn't close automatically
@@commenter621 That's what I thought but I can't because it doesn't have the sticks it has Plastic tires no way to elevate unless I put something under it Thank you I think I just forget it out

All you need to do is mark out about a third of the fridge width on top of the fridge, and a quarter on the door of the fridge, both closer to the hinge. Drive a nail in each mark, so they stick straight up. Then you can use probably five long rubber bands to bind the nails so they get pulled together. Should be strong enough to pull the door closed, but I recommend getting a hair band, the flat ones without core work best, they're strong, but can stretch a lot. There's just one downside, which is the fridge won't work no more, but it's a decent tradeoff I'd say.

mine new seal was super easy to install!! should have replaced it sooner.
