Motorcycles and sidecars were the staple transport for many families in the uk right up till the 1970,s they were cheap to insure and licensing was pretty relaxed but ever increasing anti motorcycle laws and restrictions pushed them off the roads in favour of cars.

You might as well get s car, but I still think sidecars are cool & can be very practical. It’s fun to see the creativity in the design of the sidecar. I wonder how much the sidecar would affect the insurance premium.

I want one of those Russian built BMW-> Ural R75 with sidecar machines so bad. They Are awesomeness in a Package. Cool war time design tweaked and modernized.
