The Sudets were not inhabited ONLY by Germans. They had a significant German population, but the other portion of the population was Czech.

Don't forget that Czechoslovakia had 1 128 000 men (of which 200 000 were well trained) protecting the fortificated border with mountain peaks supporting the border all around. This would've been a near perfect counter to the Blitzkrieg. Germans would break their nose and lose their teeth conquering Czechoslovakia, which makes this video accurate.
Lol I learned this playing Czechoslovakia in Hearts of Iron 4. Litteraly unbeatable. I really think if Czechoslovakia stood up to Germany H*tler would have had massive problems. Thanks for the review of my theory :)

I found this video where it is documented that the Czechs were prepared for war. They have been preparing for the defense of the country for 20 years. They had 1,250,000 soldiers, bunkers along the border and protesting women outside parliament shouting "We will give you our sons give them guns!". Mobilization began, people began to enlist en masse, and the state trusted its allies England, France and Russia (you can see it on the map in the video). The USA and other anti-fascist countries, even part of the German population, sympathized with Czechoslovakia.

- On September 19, the governments of England and France called on Czechoslovakia to cede border areas to Germany. The Czechoslovak government refused.
- On September 20, the leadership of the Soviet Union sent a telegram to the president of Czechoslovakia in which Stalin and other Soviet officials confirmed that they were ready to help Czechoslovakia.
- September 21 Great Britain and France gave an ultimatum to Czechoslovakia to accede to Germany's demands. On the same day, the Soviet foreign minister spoke at the League of Nations and strongly criticized the pressure on Czechoslovakia.
- September 22. There was a strike in Czechoslovakia followed by the fall of the government and a Military General was elected as head of state. On the same day, Hitler agreed with Chamberlain through a letter that he would give him Czechoslovakia.
- Czechoslovakia declared mobilization on September 23 and rejected Hitler's demands two days later.
- September 26 England sent a negotiator to Berlin to meet Hitler.
- On September 28, Chamberlain warned Hitler in a letter that he would get Czechoslovakia without a fight and without delay. Chamberlain also sent a letter to Mussolini to mediate negotiations with Germany.
- September 29. Subsequently, a meeting took place. Germany, Italy, Great Britain and France in Munich.
- September 30 The Munich Agreement was signed in Czechoslovakia without the participation of Czechoslovakia, the "Munich Betrayal".
Meanwhile, the Soviet Union tried to help Czechoslovakia, but Poland and Romania did not allow the movement of troops through their territory.
A week later, the Czechoslovak government was to accept the demands of Germany + Austria + Italy,
Poland (It took advantage of the situation and also began to claim Czechoslovakian territory),
Hungary (It took advantage of the situation and also began to claim Czechoslovakian territory),
France (France ignored the alliance treaty signed in 1924 on the inviolability of the Czechoslovak territory above all from Germany or Hungary.),

why would they go to prague from all sides if the border had forts? they would've just taken prague from behind
Because the czechoslovak army was already becoming overstreched. Also if they went specifically from one side the Czechs could just focus on that front and defend way longer.
