I have the opposite issue, I need to think more about what I am consuming so I make better choices.
This is common too!
See if you can look back and reflect on challenging times with food.
Then the next helpful step is to see if you can be aware of those challenging times in the present when you're going through them.
Then the step after that is to see if you can predict those challenging times in advance (and then adjust your actions)
