I so relate to your "fretboard is a playground" comment! I'm discovering new patterns I've never seen/heard before, like going through all 7 modes in all octaves available on the neck using only 1-2-4 OR 1-3-4 fingering with index or pinky slides as needed. See if you can figure it out 🙂
Great examples of how to break out of the "box" scales! I'm going to share this one with my followers, as it aligns perfectly with my value prop. Thanks!
Ironically... this has been THE Subject with me as, Recently I injured my Second finger on my fretting hand, (To Much Green,Black tea Weakings your Joints as it Robs your Bones and Ligaments of Calcium!) So,Naturally, a Scary moment for those such as Myself, as I'd Previously had NO problems with my Dexterity.. Very Scary!! So, Now, Especially..I was Forced to pay attention to my Plucking. Which is Good,as I realized how much If I Hadn't been Forced too, I definitley Wouldn't have!!
Excellent! Great post & suggestion. Thank you 🙏🏾
Great idea! Glad to see you back to being able to upload more consistent material.

And Jesus said “Don’t fret”
Question: If you are playing a fretless bass, can you still call it a “fretting hand”?
Nice video. But about that tension on first "fret" of fretless neck, I think your fretless need some nut setup. It shouldn't be so hard to press.
Yass
Ce un bon bassiste mais très confus. Pas facile de suivre
