LOVER'S LEAP

Lovers leap is an impressive water fall which is known for its romantic folklore. To reach this place one has to go through the tea factory and reach the tea manager’s bungalow along a dirt road. Visitors can reach this destination by following the signs that are there and eventually one can reach a rock face and a Shiva shrine. Just beyond the shrine one can see the cascading water fall. Legend has it that lovers have leapt to their deaths from this water fall and hence the name Lovers Leap.

PATTIPOLA

Pattipola is one of very beautiful villages with highland of spectacular scenery of Sri Lanka which is situated at the region of Central. Central's capital Kandy is approximately 113 km away from Pattipola. The distance from Pattipola to Sri Lanka's capital Colombo is approximately 224km
Pattipola Railway Station is one of a Sri Lankan most famous railway station. it is the highest railway station in Sri Lanka with an elevation of 1,897.5 meter high above mean sea level
HORTON PLAINS

One of the most beautiful World Heritage Sites in the world is definitely the Horton Plains National Park in Sri Lanka.
The park is spread over the two highest mountains in the area called Kirigalpotta and Totapola
Horton Plains is a popular tourist destination, with World's End being the key attraction
From nuwara eliya to horton plains, journey will take around two hours
ticket price will be around 500 rupees for a local person
The best time to visit the park is the start of the year, especially from January to March
plastics/polythene is not allowed in here
World's End is a sheer precipice with a 2,854 ft drop
reach the World’s End by nine in the morning to ensure a good view
A tributary of the river Belihuloya leads to these beautiful falls in the middle of the Horton Plains National Park.
About 20 metres high, this frothy, misty collection of water makes for good pictures. The place is surrounded with plenty of flora crowding the basin
The waterfall can be reached by walking on one of the main trails; the trail is a bit steep at the end but the difficulty level is medium to easy
It would take 3-4 hours to cover the entire loop
BOMBURU ELLA WATERFALL

Bomburuella Waterfall is situated in Perawella near the border of the Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts. It is 50 meters high and is also known as “Perawalla Falls”. It is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka and consists of many small waterfalls grouped together
