This is what I like about your reviews you are in the majority of golfers handicap wise. I don’t want to know how a scratch golfer thinks, I’m not scratch. I want to know how these play for an average golfer. I like a soft feel ball so it’s interesting to see how you compare the two balls. Spin rate and distance stopping was surprising, how close they were even with spin differences. Save 6 quid all day long.👍👍👍
Played a round today...took a sleeve each of RB Tour, Pro V1, and Chrome Soft. I hit the Pro V1 further off the tee than the other 2, the difference in driver distance was pretty extreme too, about 25 yards, maybe a tad more. My best drive with the RB Tour was about 275 and my best drive with the Pro V1 was around 300. But what really stuck out and sealed the RB Tour for me was the straightness and consistency. I still missed about 1 out of 3 fairways with the RB Tour off the driver, but they weren't bad misses. They were a couple yards off the fairway at worst. The ProV1 wasn't nearly as straight for me. I could have stood for a little more spin with my mid irons. The Pro V1 stuck to the greens nicer than the RB Tour. But, for straight shots off the tee, and the fact that RB tours cost about 2/3 of what the ProV1s cost.....it's Mizuno all day for me
Love the review. If you like the MIzuno but want to bring down your driver spin try the RB Tour. The X is supposed to spin just a little more on driver.
Kirkland 2.0 is the spinningest ball available. Therefore for low swing speeds its stopping power is tremendous. Especially for those hitting longer clubs into greens. If your a slower swing speed the distance between longest ball and shortest is less than 5 yards.
Might be more informative to take the average of your best 5. Offhand, I'd say the biggest indicator in your video looked to be steeper descent angle with the Titleist. RB Tour should be the better ball for the vast majority of users...at all levels...but certainly better weekend players who care more about distance off the tee and feel. RB Tour should be a less spinny, lower flying Pro V1. The X (I've played 3 sleeves of them that came with my Mizuno club orders) is probably the highest compression 3 piece urethane ball on the market (see MyGolfSpy) along with one of the Vice balls. I don't think it's going to appeal to too many people. And it is noticeably firm off the putter. I currently have the the RB Tour and Maxfli Tour CG in my bag to see which one I prefer. Maxfli wins on price BUT if I get a few more yards off the tee with the RB Tour...
The pro v1x is a 4 layer golf ball and the mizuno rb tour is three layers. It would be a better comparison to just a pro v1. There a lot of 3 layer golf balls that are 35 dollars and under.
I say stay with the Titleist you guys both had better numbers and it was the softer and quieter golf ball besides, I don't believe both of you need to worry about $8 LOL Also mid 3000 RPM spin on drivers with the Mizuno golf balls is definitely not a good thing you both could gain so much more distance with a lower spin I would check the specs on your drive.

Good point! I’m not good enough yet to tell a difference I don’t think

What about Kirkland and Pro V1?!?
Appreciate your “amateur” POV in all your videos!
I love that idea!

Check out the Maxfli Tour and Tour X - 2 dozen for $70...both great balls.
Good idea!

Titleist are still hard to beat
Great content guys. If at all possible you should also compare the Mizuno tour and Pro V 1 ...
Yes that is a good idea
