    4. Your method matters.
    This is so true! Started with 2 strand twists but my top middle has a looser texture than the rest of my hair so all those 2 strand twists unravelled 😭
    So I braided the roots of my top middle and twisted the ends. I'm a 1.5 yrs in and you can definitely see a difference. The braided parts are less thicker than the twisted part of my locs. I call them my honey bees 😊🐝

    So, I removed my locs because it kept breaking (and I always touch my hair, yes) due to dye I think... I'm trying to start a new loc that's thick.... Is it possible to start a loc by braiding my hair? Or do I have to roll it? And I am also trying to grow semi freeform dreads... Is braiding the hair the way to go?

    • @holisticflo
      @holisticflo  Рік тому +1

      Braids will most-likely make the locs appear a lot thinner than what you would want, and most people maintain them with interlocking method to maintain consistency
      If starting locs and you want them thick, I would recommend comb coils or two-strand twists like I started.
