Twinsanity is my favourite Crash Bandicoot game ever. It has spot-on, fourth wall breaking humour, wonderful acapella soundtrack from Spiralmouth, the story has a distinct Looney Tunes feel to it (which is pretty good), the artstyle is fantastic and colourful and the gameplay is fun and creative. I had a great blast with the game. If a Twinsanity remake would look like this mod, I'm completely sold my soul to Activision.
i think it will be either 2020 or 2021 cause they have pretty much 60% of the stuff already made where they can use in the game. I just hope they make it 60fps default for all platforms.

@@commentarysheep The Sonic community is way more fragmented, but the Crash fanbase is in the process of fragmentation. However, I think that as soon as Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled comes out, things should restore back to normal if not become even better for the Crash fanbase.
What this tells me is that the Alchemy engine is more than capable of being modified slightly for open world games... But they are saying that Nitro-Fueled will be the last game to run it. And if that's true... so sad.

I hope Beenox can reboot Crash Twinsanity than just make a remaster of it. There was so much of it that was cut in the final product. It's pretty impressive how even though it wasn't completely finished, it still managed to be pretty good. I hope they take their time with it though, I don't want history to repeat itself and have it not be as good as it could have been.
Watching this almost made me fucking cry. Like we are all on the same page that the first 3 crash games and CTR are bottom line the best. Old comment and all, but I will do what you haven't heard. I didn't adore Twinsanity. Story wise it was good, but the gameplay wasn't what makes Crash Crash. Corridor obstacle based linear levels focused on difficult platforming and completion is what makes Crash Crash.
Now that CTR Nitro Fueled is almost out of the way, we need devs to start working on a Twinsanity remake. That game was the best post-Naughty Dog Crash game yet, even when it wasn't finished! It would be reasonable to give that diamond in the rough the good polishing it needs.
As much as I loved twinsanity as a kid I’m not sure I would want it to come back. Moving forward with crash I just want brand new games and a party game like crash bash would be cool similar to Mario party
I think we can do better than a Twinsanity remake! I want to see an ALL NEW crash adventure! Why not? I think open worlds are cool but I do like the gameplay to still be a *little* linear. Adventuring around is fun but by no means do I want a sandbox style crash game

I think the camera needs to be more loose in order to pull off a fluid open world like environment. I’m sure there are limitations as to what can be done in the N. Sane Trilogy’s engine, and this is still nice to see overall.
Coco and Pura were not amused and there wasn't a programmed event handler for NotAmused. That caused the fallback function to be run and it's called ImDone.
