Thunder bay is of the best cities in the world to into. The people in thunder have a lot of love, for everyone. Thunder bay is verry friendly and verry beautyful. Theres so much help in thunder bay for everyone. All races of people are verry much loved in thunder bay.
i've passed through t-bay many times, occasionally overnighting. the city is in a beautiful natural area but as i understand it it is highly undesirable to live in due to crime and corruption.
It is also fairly difficult to access the natural areas, and the effects of urban sprawl are some of the most extreme I've ever lived in. It takes an inordinately long time to get from end to end of the city, as well, whether due to a combination of low speed limits, poor planning, potholes, or something else. Being barred from the lake by the railroads and industrial waterfront, or needing to trek across town to access some of the only sizable greenspaces keeps many people out of the natural spaces. You otherwise need to leave the city (and often go quite far, at that) - which is not possible for people who rely on public transportation.
Waverley Tower was and is an eyesore, unfortunately set at the most prominent place in Port Arthur. Imagine an ugly residential tower, inescapably visible from all places in a city. What a tragedy. I admire their efforts to improve the look of the building but it made only a marginal improvement.
Just a friendly note to visiting tourists- be sure to go off the beaten path and explore the riverside trails, you may come across an impromptu pow wow. Just be sure to bring your own lysol, aqua velva, lacquer thinner or whatever drink you prefer. The participants of such pow wows do not share, and will be expecting you to share as a fee.. Oh, and bring lots of cigarettes you will be required to supply them to everyone who asks. I guess that pretty much applies to every part of town, but especially in the wooded areas. What a wonderful city to visit, and even better to live in!!!
@@mikecrystalrobert7898 I was waiting for a bus and got jumped by native youth who I did not give a smoke too, cops do nothing as they are afraid of being called racist. You really do need to keep your head on a swivel in Thunder Bay. I hope you can quit smoking mike.
Same here...looks like around the ski trails at Centennial. I used to mountain bike that area many years ago. They must be keeping it a secret so it doesn't get vandalized. The reason we can't have nice things here in TBay.
A town with no industry left, no jobs beyond government or minimum wage. A town where the police and are careless, irresponsible, incompetent and corrupt. A town where you can be arrested for volunteering your services in your community, harming no one. A town where the skies are polluted most days by airplanes. If I was not tied here by family I would not live here. Forget Thunder Bay. I would if I could.
I haven't been there, but right now is what I want the most! I'm Colombian and I really wish living there. Greetings from Colombia!
By what people say it doesn't seem like a good place to live, but I love coming here during the summer.
You like getting bitten by the mosquitoes?

Doug Steen, nevertheless thank you for your efforts to attempt to beautify Waverley Tower.
I chuckled when he said less sick days
