  • AIM for Seva, a movement to empower and educate children from rural and tribal India.
There is a saying that, 'India lives in her villages. Even after seven decades of independence, people in rural India still need encouragement and infrastructure to overcome obstacles relating to communications, health, sanitation and, importantly, education for their children. Schools are far from the villages and not easily accessible; poverty encourages parents to keep their children at home or take them to work; The physical and socio-psychological structure of villages does not provide a conducive environment for children to learn and grow. It is already evidenced that the greater prosperity of the Indian nation is linked with the prosperity of rural India.
Education plays a vital role in reconstructing and empowering rural India.
Everyone has a dream to do something that contributes to the nation/world. To realize a dream brings great satisfaction and happiness. To provide an opportunity for holistic education for children to nurture their dreams is why we come together as AIM for Seva.
It's a heart-inspired movement that offers free student hostels close to schools.
AIM for Seva’s Chatralayams, also known as Free Student Hostels make it possible for the children to develop into healthy, self-confident, responsible citizens - fully prepared for a career and life.
This short film gives a sneak peek of our flagship programme and some of the people associated with the movement.
