I’m kinda glad that they gave Kulev an actual voice instead of the stereotypical slithery noises that talking snakes tend to make in other games.
The voice actor for the last character seemed to really be channeling Taika Watiti as Korg, must be his inspiration

It seems to me like this team could have and probably SHOULD have spent their time remaking Jet Set Radio Future? This chill atmosphere seems perfect for all forms of skating and fighting for territory around a sprawling Tokyo-esque city. Visually it's really nice to look at and the music seems well suited for this type of game. I'm really impressed and totally disappointed at the same time. The characters seem randomly put together from spare parts. I suppose that's kind of the point but it makes little sense without a story to glue it all together.
Love the samurai hover board character. The rest seem to err on the side of being weird and diverse merely for the sake of being weird and diverse. I've only seen one actual gameplay vid but it seemed pretty mindless. Maybe a good button masher for kids?

Seems like every character has the same basic cookie cutter personality. The aesthetic, character design and music are great looking but the characters themselves and gameplay isn’t wowing me in any way.
Ni offense seems very much like a mobile game.
I want to be excited for this game, but so far it's just a collection of character tropes, in a familiar setting, with familiar game modes. Hope I get proved wrong on launch.

The Snake and Cassowary people are my two favorite characters
Also It’d be cool if there was an area in this training area for your enemy and allies to attack each other to show off the buff/heal abilities.
Hopefully they make the dojo better for the full release of the game

First of all, sorry for my grammar, my native language is portuguese, not English.
I played the beta about 10 hours and man, I gotta say that I really liked this game.
The idea is totally "yes" for me. I have been playing FPS so much and just wanna "explore new horizons". Overwatch and Paladins are starting to get boring to me.
So, see a new and good "moba/shooter" (that actually is a "moba/melee") game releasing, makes me really get the hype.
The fact that it's an microsoft exclusive to me is not exactly good, really don't like this "exclusive" thing at all. But anyways it shows that Microsoft investments on game studios are starting to give good results and, as a xbox player, it can only be good to me.

I mean by no means am I an expert gamer or whatever but I would like to Express a few opinions on what I've seen so far of the game. First off, this gameplay shows off all of the abilities but no text or vocals to explain anything kind of makes it hard to follow. Second, it is nice to see all of the abilities but we are not shown if any of the abilities have combo potential. I'm pretty sure they do because of the low cool downs and such but who knows. Concerning gamplay the range characters look incredibly weak compared to the melee heroes. I know that you have to balance but the damage output is very apparent between the range and melee characters and characters that have to be pocketed for every fight wouldn't be fair to people who enjoy a less aggressive approach. Other than that the game looks really cool. I hope I will get the chance to try it someday. If this game does takeoff I hope developers do not abandon this game like we see with so many other games of this genre.

Litteraly ppl are saying mean comments below LIKE have they played the game back then, I MEAN mostly there are mean comments IN xbox one microsoft review BC they are NOOBS absolutely. Some ppl doesn't know how to play the GAME so they need to train although THEY say it's a bad game WILL now these days almost 1m ppl play bleeding edge ANd still call it a bad GAME I mean it's like cyberpunk overwatch.

This game looks really fun, and I dig the character's physical and (gameplay) mechanical designs, but I'm not really digging the characters themselves. I mean, that fuckin spray painting assassin got on my nerves in just over a minute, and the harpy eagle chick was cool as hell, and then she talked, and I had to skip the gamer because two lines in, I wanted to choke him
I agree, they aren’t very memorable and none of them stand out at least that was my first impression hopefully when the game releases next month the game can change my mind.

There are only 3 healers but I think one of the tanks and one of the damage characters have a heal aswell

Don't worry guys it's cooler with other people. But I doo feel as if all of these characters are really fuckin generic. Like, there could definitely be a few more lines, get some better names, and better character designs. Come on man.

and cass ult is basically just meteor strike and ashs ult from paladins and her secondary is death blossom as well as kogas ult

Damage input is a bit low, but it seems better when In an actual match
Really wish this game was more combo oriented. Seems very slow and methodical and honestly, pretty dull.
