I Don't think the issue with boruto is the story i think its the presentation I Do think the narrative has glaring issues but i feel like alot of it is unironically down to aura and aesthetics and how it hits you so hard without giving you an enjoyable enough pay off vibe to make all the negatives feelworth while The plot twist is fine...But the shafting of characters isnt
Respectfully, move on. A key theme of Naruto has always been passing on responsibilties to the next generation. The Will of Fire if you will. We saw it with Tobirama and Hiruzen, Asuma and Shikamaru, Jiraiya and Naruto. Sure they all died, but more importantly, their dreams and hopes were left to their juniors. Cant expect the old dogs to be around forever.
@@kanyeyeast9251 What you are giving me is an idea, a theme. The theme is not the story. The story is the execution. And Don't need to disrespect your elders to grow. They didn't need to unceremoniously shaft older characters to get them out of the way. Moving on is fine, Self destruction and calling it "moving on" is not... And if the point is. you need to move on even if people die bad deaths... or end in a bad way....Then A - No one wants to see an old man get beat up by some teenagers (This is a metaphor) B - There is still better ways of doing that which were not employed in the story

I am in the minority with this opinion... I think momoshiki was referring to boruto's blue eyes, let me explain, actually it is one passing line that momoshiki said that made me believe it was not Ada's eyes but boruto's eyes. After kawaki cut boruto's eye, momoshiki told boruto in one of their conversations,"you have lost one of THE eyes"... I think boruto is building a brand new dojutsu with his eyes, and they will take everything from him... That goes back to the question tonari ask... Not having his old life back, is that a bad thing? 🤔
It had to be rushed. With time to recover naruto would have had an actual plan against jigen. In naruto and shippuden the rematches were always overcome. Kakashi vs zabuza. Shikamaru vs hidan naruto vs sasuke. My point being is that recovery time is key. Code who is above jigen lost his eye to sasuke. Sasuke who had time to train after losing his eye only lost because of numbers. He changed the landscape and was finally bitten by a claw grime. Naruto and sasuke werent given time to adjust to new normals
@xSimplyTroy here's my theory and I'm fixing to blow some caps off some heads with this one. The Boruto manga is a story based off Boruto's memories. And the Omnipotence changes people's memories. Now this is two theories wrapped d into one and explains a lot of what has been said by Momoshiki. But What if: 1. In the beginning of Boruto, Boruto wanted to as he said "kill," his dad Naruto the Hokage for not being there for him and Hima, and only being there for the village. So he sought out Sasuke to give him Intel on his dad's weakness. 2. What if what we saw happen to Naruto and Hinata didn't really happen to them. Like we all know so far in the story Kawaki sealed them in another dimension. At the same time Boruto was having mental stability issues, having another voice in his head, and physically seeing Momoshiki. And interacting with Momoshiki. What if in the real reality one we haven't seen yet Boruto went off the deep end blacked out and killed Naruto and Hinata. Only to be discovered by Hima. 3. Hima's Byakugan has another hidden power a power greater than Omnipotence, and the Preseince Shinjutsu. Sense she has both Naruto and Hinata's blood and chakras flowing in her body. She has the potential to have both Hamaru, and Hagaromo's chakras, making her full blooded Outsutsuki, plus the 9 tails chakra making her into a lethal force to be reckoned with. But what if she walked in on Boruto, saw what happened performed a Shinjutsu that brought Naruto and Hinata back to life and rewrote everything. 4. Hima was running through the town square when Boruto saw her again. Boruto even noticed and asked "why are looking at me like that Hima?" Hima had a look of complete and utter fear in her eyes. I believe she didn't know what she did, but she wasn't affected by it, and she kind of remembered what happened but not really. Like maybe she blacked out to. 5. Kawaki is the change of fate. Kawaki had Aida reset everyone's memories, and now they are the true memories. No body really knows what happened to the Hokage and his wife. But Kawaki did the right thing to protect his parents. And Boruto told Kawaki something in recent chapters of TBV that will completely undo whatever future Koji is aiming for. That my guess Koji doesn't realize that Boruto told Kawaki about his limiters, and training with his dad. 6. All of this brings me to one single point. In the last chapter of Boruto: NNG Momoshiki said "this isn't the way this happened before." Referring to Sasuke joining Boruto, instead of attacking Boruto. Allowing Borushiki to come out, and kill Sasuke. Momoshiki wasn't affected by whatever Hima's shinjutsu was. He still had all of his prior memories, and here's the kicker: 7. All of this has happened before. Meaning somebody or something is out there controlling time/space and reality. And in all the previous time lines and realities something always happened where Momoshiki won. He always wins. Unless this is the time line Koji is really aiming for, where Momoshiki doesn't win, and Kawaki stomps his ass 6 feet into the ground. Maybe that's what is happening, and we don't realize it just yet. There is more of a twist coming at the end. I think the biggest plot twist is going to be when it's revealed there never was a Momoshiki consciousness, it was always Boruto.
So the writer did s good job with tje resolve and narrative of the story so the shinju are like ai that cant be controlled a singularity that cant be stopped and thanks to boruto training by Sasuke it shows he is not talking shortcuts and training to restore the uzumaki household and sarada gets resolved by handling the pressure to shwo how far she would go for love and tye cycle of love and how far she would not give up on her freinds wnd never back down to believe anyone even going against sasuke and activating it through love instead of hate puts her in naruto potential wise and himwari relying on kurama as a ally learning to control her chakra control and kawaki and boruto teaming up and kawaki limiters getting removed and boruto learning flying rajin and Uzuhiko rasengen as prove of koji and sasuke betraying the village and having the balls to train a traitor just for love and to protect the village for the love of hashirsma village and madara and never guve up on ur freinds tehir taking everything and nlt stopping woah this series is peak cinema

@@MrL1G3R Not even the same person but if you are to speak on their behalf I assume this is still a joking thing I just personally don't like such reasonings as it takes 2 to tango and in regards to a protaganist a simple character being the parent without any other merit that character has really just feels like a way to constantly go back in reasonings. An example of said Chain was if Sarada did well with the Chidori you would say "Sasuke's really the goat for teaching them that." - "Kakashi's really the goat for making the Jutsu" - "Minato's the goat for keeping Kakashi alive" - "Jiraiya's the goat for helping Train Minato" - "Hiruzen's the goat for Training Jiraiya" - "Hashirama's the goat for Training with Hiruzen." hurry up and get troy to 10k!
Imagine. Naruto was influenced by orichimaru. Instead of stealing sasuke body. What if he stole Naruto’s body with kurama sealed inside.
Pls tell me you were reading left to right
good shit bro
My prediction, for some crazy reason boruto is actually kawaki. And the prophecy is borutos blue eyes took everything from kawaki
U sound like a more enthused six the yt power scaler ,the Naruto dude 😭😭😭
I should probably give up on this series, since they are just using recycle ideas.
Pls stay away from dragon ball if u think this, you’ll hate it lol.
@@Not_obligated2care It's obvious that Dragon Ball is much better franchise the Boruto.
@@Not_obligated2care Especially DB Daima anime give us so much lore.
recycle ideas from where? your moms garbage?
But if you really examine the manga, Sarada, activating her mangekyo was a sign of truth and Sasuke proved that something is not what it seems if it wasn’t for Sara to activating her Mangekyo in that moment he might not have done what he did.
I Don't think the issue with boruto is the story i think its the presentation
I Do think the narrative has glaring issues but i feel like alot of it is unironically down to aura and aesthetics and how it hits you so hard without giving you an enjoyable enough pay off vibe to make all the negatives feelworth while
The plot twist is fine...But the shafting of characters isnt
And if the point is. you need to move on even if people die bad deaths... or end in a bad way....Then A - No one wants to see an old man get beat up by some teenagers (This is a metaphor)
B - There is still better ways of doing that which were not employed in the story
Got an upload W
I still think momoshiki was talking about boruto’s blue eyes because in chapter 78 momoshiki tells boruto he’s lost one blue eye. Also eida wasn’t using the senrigan when she casted omnipotence
Eida also doesn’t have blue eyes they’re more black
Yet you see bums saying its generic and seen before LMAO 😂😂😂
No absolutely nobody is saying that they did the same thing in my hero academia everybody was saying it's too friendly and then in the final season's the whole world just turned into chaos
It’s barely a plot twist. No one said it’s done before just that it’s uninspired and not engaging. The the only people who are hype about this are Boruto fans that want it validated in other anime spaces. Terms like “Foreshadowing” “Plot twists” “Symbolism” & “Parallels” manga fans hang on to these terms like comic fans do to “relatability” thinking that’s what makes a good story. It’s not. A good story is a good story.
@@Jay_SGE you don't know what a plot twist that's first
Second it's engaging and very well written shush tf up
"Oh no ppl are telling you what it takes to be a good story " also you looking for validation do you even listen to yourself?
And yes boruto is a good story pack up and leave
@@sylvanuskofi1952 If it was, the sales wouldn’t be dropping every volume.

And vin land saga has dudu sales don't ever talk about things you know nothing about

I never had it figured out but I always looked at Boruto is Naruto done in reverse so I kinda knew Boruto would have to leave the village at 12 as a rouge I didn’t know how they was going to get to it I would try to guess but couldn’t until it actually happened
Bro this shit need to DROP! (ANIME)
I sub at negative Nancy. Good job its a deep thinking video. Thank you

The idea was great top tier the execution was bad or mid boruto has alway had great idea but also sold when it came to execution
What if what Aida did, actually reset reality? Like at some point somebody or something created the previous reality.
Explain more Idk what you mean?
@xSimplyTroy here's my theory and I'm fixing to blow some caps off some heads with this one. The Boruto manga is a story based off Boruto's memories. And the Omnipotence changes people's memories. Now this is two theories wrapped d into one and explains a lot of what has been said by Momoshiki. But What if:
He still had all of his prior memories, and here's the kicker:
Amazing
You mean YOU read Boruto wrong, lol.
No you read it wrong

Tell ghost in the GC that hes a mini gator
I call that Shibai reincarnated in boruto
No he is just in a higher dimension where he can see timelines and the jougun are portals to different timelines including one where Isshiki won.

True
Bro everyone in shippuden would of handled the sinju and jura way better bro😂 it would of never been this bad. They had way more resources that they used. The writing to boruto is actually not that good especially when you know they are purposely not doing things just cause!!
Aren’t you the guy with that weird stalker online who wrote ur name x her name using her period blood?
It's not pronounced iida like the my hero academia dude. It's EEHDA
Since kawaki Is baruto kawaki will die regardless
Omni man plot twist was better
Boruto is his father. Nothing about boruto aside of the cloak says sasuke bro 😂.
The fact that you commented twice about something you're ignorant about is crazy 🤣
Boruto would be better as a stand-alone anime. I don't really believe the modern Leaf Village as Konoha. I would take Boruto, Sarada, and insane alien beings more seriously if this wasn't in the Naruto universe.

Idk at least for me, omnipotence is like a cracked out Tsukuyomi. I’m better off believing Boruto doesn’t exist and that Naruto & Sasuke are still fighting Kagyua.
The real goat of boruto is hinata ngl
You mean Himawari, Hanabi, Uh... Neji?
I don't know honestly but what even would be the reason for Hinata?
@@ZelZ-.-zcuz she gave birth to boruto
@@MrL1G3R Not even the same person but if you are to speak on their behalf I assume this is still a joking thing I just personally don't like such reasonings as it takes 2 to tango and in regards to a protaganist a simple character being the parent without any other merit that character has really just feels like a way to constantly go back in reasonings.
An example of said Chain was if Sarada did well with the Chidori you would say "Sasuke's really the goat for teaching them that." - "Kakashi's really the goat for making the Jutsu" - "Minato's the goat for keeping Kakashi alive" - "Jiraiya's the goat for helping Train Minato" - "Hiruzen's the goat for Training Jiraiya" - "Hashirama's the goat for Training with Hiruzen." And so on and so on.
It's like taking all the achievements one makes just because of who you can hypothetically pull them back to.
Once again this is likely a joke but going off the view of taking this joke with any % of seriousness this is where I find issues with it.
And this would be the point in which I bow and bid you adieu.
