I wasn't into AdMech at all... until I played them. The Sulphurhounds you get at T1 are an amazing scout/skirmish unit that's both resilient and competent at combat (albeit close quarters/short range), that transitions into the late game really decent. The Skorpius Disintegrator are by far my absolute favorite tanks in the whole game. The level of destruction you get from those amphibious (!) missile buses is just eyewatering. Onagers and Destroyers are both really decent too. I think the devs absolutely nailed it with how the AdMech looks and feels.
No problem! I was curious myself! They're very dun to play and have alot of good units! Once your set up you just build tall and start pumping out mechs and before you know it your stomping people!
Last time I used an Adeptus Mechcanius Toaster my bread was reduced to a few grains of ash.... Mastering a type of technology means being able to control it not just making it more powerful. This is my favorite Gladius faction though. I always have a soft spot for Techie type characters and Techie factions. Though a Dark Mechanium faction would be fun.
Not to be mean or anything, i could be missing something, but why do you have 999999 of every resource? Shouldnt this be a legit guide? Great Video, dont get me wrong but it feels kinda odd when you have an infinite amount of resources in a "Guide"
Bro I was just watching rn and thought same) It is wierd to have 99999 resources but still have to be "waiting" for units to create. In this case you can just cheat them wtf)))
Tbh, I only did that to save on production time on the video. Just felt it took me to long recording it without, I don't get much time to record and gladius take awhile to produce units even with the resources but without ID have to wait longer in the game even in quick speed, so I had resources cheated in to get units in the queue faster and thus get them produced faster. In guides in the future I'm gonna take more time and do it more legitly. It'll just take longer but I'm willing to do that to make a more legit guide :). Thank you for your insight, I do appreciate everyone's concern here!
I apreciate this guide😀 but I have a question. how does this faction mechanics works on units buildings? You had Sub-Cloister and Manufactorum Cybernetica on same tile, does that means this factions beneficts on having units buildings on the same tile?
Not particularly, unit buildings don't matter in placement I just put them there because it's convenient for me. Tbh though, it can be any placement but the mechanicus benefits from using energy. They have lots of abilities to rush production that is imperative to use!
@@colonelstratthis isn’t accurate at all, admech suffers penalties from mixing buildings and gets synergies from stacking the same buildings. The penalties get fixed with a T10 tech though. This might be more obvious without infinite resource cheating
I thought monolithic buildings only applied for resource buildings, food, ore, etc. Even when I'm not playing mechanicus, I tend to build clusters of the same resource building on tiles together, so it was just playing as usual for me. And I only did the resources hack to speed up production just to cut down on video production time. So i could get the big boii showcase units produced to show. In future guides, I'm going to just take the time required and do it right for a more legit feeling experience. I understand how it can cheapen the guide and might return to redo these as well so they feel more genuine.
Hey, if you could give any tips to a new player who has played Civ games and completed the tutorial already, what would you say? I made the unit splitting mistake during the tutorial, this ain't StarCraft lol
