Thanks for this style of demo video. 15 or so seconds per sound is really all we need. I've run into so many lately where they'll be 10 minutes long, but the person playing is more worried about showing us what a great player they are, sometimes spending a couple minutes on a single sound. This is exactly how they should be made. Subbed.
this synth is fricking hypnotic. My current dream keyboard
Unashamedly digital. I like that.
Looks like an amazing synthesizer
This is such an underrated synth. It’s ease of use is unmatched and sonic possibilities are almost limitless. The only thing I would change is the arpeggiator, would have preferred a dedicated knob.
This is a VERY much slept upon synthesizer. VA,wave tables,61 full size keys, and EVERY knob sends MIDI ? I THINK I JUST FOUND MY LATEST TOY!
Argon8X is similar in a way - VA/WT, 61 fatar keys, lots of knobs. I have a regular 37 key version and while it feels a bit claustrophobic it's a real gem.
@@greedydotmf Had an Argon8X for few weeks; nice but kinda limited..it has it's very strong unique sound which is ok for some purposes, but not a good bread and butter synth. Also the modulation possibilities are a bit on the weak side.
Ich besitze seit 3 Jahren einen Slegde und habe den Kauf nie bereut. Es macht Spaß an den Sounds rumzuschrauben. Die Soundmöglichkeiten sind enorm und die Sounds echt fett und gut.
You root. you nearly wrecked my ears and speakers.
Beautiful sound.
Wow! I really thought this thing looked ugly. I was mistaken. I prefer the back one though. And it sounds way better than I thought as well. And so much control possibilities.Time to ditch the Blofield and some other unnecessary gear and myself a Sledge instead.
Un mostro 😀🌟
Lovely. I’m buying one.
The workflow seems very nice!
7:50 to 8:09 nice sound !!
*I love it this machine....* *The sounds are wonderful !!!*
You have now a new friend here...
*See you soon,*
Bekaa
Yes, hello. I have complied a list of some of the best synths of today. Which do you think is best and why?
- Jupiter X - Juno X - Fantom 6 - Polybrute - Hydrasynth - Iridium - OB-X8
- Summit - Montage - Sledge 2.0 - Numa X Piano GT - OPsix SE
Many good sounds in this synth but also alot of look a like sounds from vsti,s. I wonder what this synth does thats make it a signature sound like moog,s , korgs , roland , sequential synths?
Nothing
This Synth Looks like something you’d have in your SKYLINE!! 😂 if you were in a FAST & FURIOUS MOVIE 🍿 when it was still believable; like in TOKYO DRIFT!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Are those effects either/or. Is it possible to use the reverb and delay simultaneously? IF yes, how many effect total?
2 simultaneous
petty, there is no sound that cant be generated with my old Yamaha ES. The only difference is that its more possibilities to hands on modulation.
Just picked the black edition up.. can’t get after touch to work whatsoever. wondering if it needs to be activated somehow.
How do you feel about it as of now?
How many preset sounds are there on this Synth please
"Up to 1000 Sounds" (sounds = presets)
@@wolfgangSvukan thank you
Woow que sonidos tan sólidos y armoniosos estoy apuntó de comprarme el mío por fin. 😎👌👌
ya lo compraste? y que tal te va pues tambien me agrada bastante este synthe
watch them Q sweeps buddddyboi
HEV Synth.
Indeed, a Mark IV no less.
does it have piano sounds?
There is 60 MB of flash memory so you can load your own samples (like acoustic piano). There are already samples as "Grand C1" and "Stage Grand".
I feel like a Bat 🦇 😂
Not sure where you’d find one at this time of night…
Sounds to me more powerful than analog. Wtf
aftertouch please
@@rationalthinker1 exactly bro I use synths all the time for music production and aftertouch is never needed and tbh no one but audio nerds even notice it
it has
Switch the transpose button off!
because?
@@MUFSpoiler because played notes do not mach the sound. It's kinda disturbing seeing someone press a "C" and listening a "D" instead.
How does it compare to the Waldorf Q?
Its pretty much the Waldorf Q...
@@megabugginout no, it's not buddy, really it's not
@@megabugginout The Sledge II has Pre routed modulation sources, the Q has an open modulation matrix, is 16 parts multitimbral, has superior/and far deeper programmable FX section, a deeper arpeggiator, but only has two 128x waldorf wavetables, ALT1 and ALT2 for oscillator one and two. The Sledge 2 in return can only have wavetables for osc 1 but has in return 64 64x wavetables plus ALT1 and ALT2 from the Q. Still, the Q is in a whole different league, its an immensely more professional instrument soundwise and feature wise and the same goes for build quality. But it is also more costly and is only available second hand. The Sledge is in return easier to program. I love both synths, and I do have extensive experience of programming both of them. The Sledge is likely the best synth in existence for any entry level synth programmer/player and can still also punch above its weight. I call it the HEV synth. :P
@@snuppssynthchannel Excellent explanation of what you need to find your way, great
I just took delivery of a rev 2 in black...looks a million dollars...it's sounds awful...the reverb is crude (sounds like an early spring) the sounds are totally underwhelming and quite thin and muddy at the same time??. What really made my mind up was the amount of hiss and the clicks and bangs in the background of many of the sounds. Good luck to the company but I'll cut and paste this and chuck it on a few channels on UA-cam 'cos it's really that bad when listened to straight though headphones. I haven't been this disappointed in years......for around the same price my Roland Juno DS88 (wonderful piano sounds) and Korg Prologue (£300 more...wonderful synth sounds) are in another league. Mine is back in the box and going straight back. Good luck everyone.
ahh no wonder is 650 pounds in the uk
I'll take it off your hands. I'm into shitty sounding equipment.
I'm surprised this demo doesn't sound bad and I owned a Waldorf Microwave XT which was good. These patches in the demo aren't that inspiring did you make some of your own? The Prologue is true analogue this is VA.
I just bought this. I think it’s amazing and everything I’ve ever wanted. The fact that it’s digital doesn’t bother for the first time. I’ve had many mono classics and only stayed in vintage analog territory. This is all that even if it’s digital. God I love it!!!
It’s digital and it shows. Great if that’s what you want, but you also get what you pay for.
It looks good, and that is important...but the sound,. It sounds like the Sylent vst...that's not a good thing in 2023
Ok incel
Thx for the demo so I know I won't buy. Hands on control is nice but this sounds way too digital, no warmth at all, cold, harsh, thin. You can get these sounds out of a free vst. Too bad. I'll pass.
Yeah we understand your sarcasm,
We know you are drooling watching this not so warm,
too much digital toy,
Enjoy..
f@inalorbit7030 clearly you're not playing with people. Just another youtube incel
It has a place, gotta work & pair up.
