- We headed back out to put some more yard work into our newest trail, and things got zesty fast! Jim was peer pressured into tackling a wild line, leading to his first rollover in the Tipsy Two. But that wasn’t the end-Jim had to pull the spark plugs from his brand new buggy for the first time! No problems, only solutions-turned into an epic day of rock crawling with the boys.

Great video! Do what you can, most of us viewers will still be here every Friday night or Saturday morning 😅
I appreciate that. Not the first person to mention Saturday morning cartoons so maybe I should go back to that schedule instead.
Once again another epic video. You Canadians can’t pick a president, but you sure make good wheeling videos. I will do my part by sharing this video!!!
Awesome stuff. You will be my 1st patron follower. Was just thinking it would be cool to see more of the rigs before and after the trips. Bolt checks, repairs, upgrades. We'll be here to watch.
Appreciate the effort dude! Love the videos and the commentary
Cheers! Thank you!
GOOD TIMES!! 🤙 😎
We appreciate your efforts brother from another mother
Cheers!
i get that man... hope you can figure it out ill be here to watch whatever you put out!
Dirty Jesus needs to invent the BBQ sling for the man on the go!
I've actually been doing some design on a small buggy sized BBQ, built for the trail, will have to do some testing once I get one cut out. I feel bad for everyone on the trail with their cold sandwiches, bring back bbq wheelin!
I will say although i like your content and try to catch them as much as i can i definitely havnt been tuning in as much now that they arnt my saturday morning cartoons
could just.... watch it on saturday? lmao
@Zacyz125 i could but i dont, by then theyre buried in notifications of other channels I watch some stuff then i get busy. Im just saying maybe others are the same and thats why his viewership is not doing great 🤷♂️
Fair point, I was asked by multiple people to change them to the friday afternoon vids so they could watch them in the shop afterwork with the boys and some shop sodas but I do miss the Saturday morning drops, figured people would just tune in on Saturday morning but you may be right about the change.
Thanks!
Thank you! I really appreciate that!
🔥🔥🔥
Your efforts don't go unnoticed. We all love the vids, and commentary. Leafs are fine, your rig is cool, we can't all be fancy.
Us broke fools will patiently wait for the best 4x4 content to be released.
What about a "rig overview" video for each of the guys.
Explaining what it is, was and what's been done to it.
We dig the machines. Maybe it would be a quicker/ easier edit. Less foot travel too🤙
Cheers, thank you! I've done some of those but I really should do more. Its a bit of a moving target because of the speed that my friends are upgrading their rigs, and UA-cam doesn't typically push those videos very hard but for the "every week" fan thats a good idea. You can find some on my channel if you search WalkArounds, that said everyones rig is completely different now except for mine, my friends are just too badass and keep doing huge renovations!
I think if you boys got out the back yard more often, did some more collaboration the channel could grow, but what do I know 😅 I love it either way 🤙
I fully agree, being stuck on an island means the options are more limited for other wheeling and other groups and backyard wheeling is so easy but you're absolutely right, I need to get some more new trails and more new rigs on the channel to freshen things up, workin on it!
🤘
Wish I could support you more than subbing. Gotta build my own fancy rig before I die though.
Keep it up, it will come around
Thanks for following along, I really appreciate it!
You could go to work for element technical services up there for the crew that works down here in the usa. Working a 20 day on 10 day off schedule making killer money. And still make a epic video once or twice a month. Supposedly we are supposed to go to a 2week on and 2 week schedule.
could try and reach out to other 4x4 youtubers your size and invite them out to wheel... make collab vids. your viewers find them their viewers find you kinda thing.
Thats a great idea, one of the problems with living on an Island is the amount of people filming over here is small, I definitely need to branch out some more tho for sure!
@@PathmakerProductions totally understandable. location is tricky in your case for sure. hope you can keep making this youtube thing happen. look forward to your vids every week.
@@PathmakerProductions you should try and make it out to Washington and come out for a decent sized event called king of Elbe if you look it up on UA-cam it'll come up
Loved the boulder up and over @ approx.14 min. Man, greasy soil is right. Happened to be reading about Butte MT copper mines and they referenced some surface mining East of Gabriola and Salt; cool area w/ amazing fish species! That Ferry boat East from your area is amazing, if it goes where I think it does?
There used to be quite a bit of mining on the Island but as the Greenies have taken over there are less and less of that going on. I do think I know of where you're speaking of tho. You're thinking of the right Ferry, for us going damn near anywhere equals a ferry ride, after growing up here they're less of a treat and more of an expensive pain in the ass!
@ Fair point and understood, though the explorer in me gets my mind reeling; anyway, have a great week and enjoy the longer days coming!
How bigs that property of yours? Could you hold a pay to spectate event?
Thats really hard to do North of the border, you get into insurance and permit issues really quick with things like that, which is why you see so few races and events on this side of the line, I do like the thinking tho!
Love your vids and love your style! Keep up the good work.
As of suggestions you could do give aways for people who buy merchandise or like and share vids. Or invite a viewer once a month to come wheel with ya? I'd love to beat my 4runner down your trails lol #islandspec
Thats a great idea, I'll have to give it some more thought on how to make that work!
You can always move to Utah and get 4 more wives with jobs or do some build/shop videos to grow the channel.lol
Now we're talkin! Mrs. Pathmaker might be less enthusiastic about that plan tho haha!
Promise her she will always be #1 😂
Killa videos my guy keep em coming! nothing like this is out there on any other platform Cheers! We got a channel as well maybe we link, would be awesome to come break shit one day! (Nanaimo area)
Would love that, sounds like fun! Drop the channel name and I'll check it out!
@Streeturchin
sad world we live in. ducks over wheelin.
Who's ducking what now?
@PathmakerProductions I'm seeing them in new broncos.
What a weird thing grown adults are doing to strangers, I'll never understand that whole thing.
Unfortunately click baitish stuff in titles and thumbnails work. Something stupid like Hydro locked engine! Will we get off the trail?! A dramatic looking thumbnail with destroyed!? Or something that draws interest and creates mystery help. Just putting another more popular YTrs pic or name in thumbnail/titles trigger the algorithm. You have to manufacture the things that break up the routine/predictable nature of this stuff so casual folks get invested in finding out something and end up watching the rest to do so. It's dumb but it works if you can make people curious and avoid the predictable nature of this stuff.
Hmm thanks for taking the time to write that out, you're right. I try to stay away from the "tricks" but we can all see where I get just doing it my way and its not goin very far. I like the thought!
