My parents cursed at us when we were little. Did we take after that? .... Yes xD But I didn't really begin cursing until I got to the 7th or 8th grade. (And no, I never cursed back at my parents. I know better.)

Steve is HILARIOUS as usual... I say make a Parental decision! If you don't want your child cussing in school, do NOT allow the friend around your child. You can not control others behavior.... Since the friend will not control her mouth around the children, decide what's MORE important; the friendship or the child's influence!!!

If you cuss at your kid, then tell them not to do it, that's hypocrisy. From my own experience: the more hypocritical you are when they're kids, the more resentful they are when they're teens. Mind you... you can still lie to them about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and such... just let them know where pretending stops and reality begins.

It just completely and utterly and totally disappeared. I’m 63. It has not returned. What happened? I was born again. Old-fashioned Christians will tell you that the only way to stop cussing it to get rid of the customer and that’s only by being born again. Christians don’t curse. It’s part of the things that disappear at the instant of salvation

I been cussing and drinking at about age 3. OKAY! Guess what? I am a law abiding voting citizen, married twice never lived with men or them with me. Celibate for six years. No bastard children. All for my last husband of 23 years. 2 college degrees and 3 certifications. Don't drink but on rare occasions and no illegal drugs. My sister doesn't cuss and she does everything and everyone.
