Dammit your so lucky! I went on sq's a345 just a week before they launched the all business program on the Sin-lax route!

On paper, yes, the return is longer. However it was about 16 hours, not 19 as scheduled due to strong winds.

@seaboo143 We flew east, passing Tokyo and Alaska, and over Canada. We only entered Mainland US airspace about 30 minutes from touchdown.

@seatgurus Thanks, and it was great indeed! To keep it steady, I hold the camera against the window so its not as shaky as when you hold it with both your hands. I then use the iMovie video stabilization feature which smoothens out any remaining shaky bits. Of course, there are a few bumps here and there but you'd need to tape your camera to the window to avoid that!

@risewiththelive1 I don't think sin-lax is the 3rd longest nonstop flight. It is one of the longest flights but if I'm not mistaken the 3 longest flight is delta from Johannesburg to Atlanta with the 777lr. But that sucks! A345 rules

I never realized how much gas this plane needed to do this route, until I saw this video, notice how that wing is showing almost zero flex even after take off. Thats a lot of fuel.
