Thanks VDB, you don’t need crazy handles to be a good iso player either.

Maybe u don’t but I need to create space being a overweight small guard but I average 18 and 8 so I still cook

Yep all u need is the referee to let u carry the fuck out off the ball .... Like mah man the cry baby Luka and whine to the ref every time a defender even attempt to play some decent D

@@solidmalhi75ye for I was gonna say it depends what u need depending on… WHAT U NEED. Like if u kno u lack in speed n vertical, etc, then u r gonna need a somewhat elite handle to create space. Same thing for if ur rly fast n athletic but lack a handle, then u might not need an elite handle, just whatever works. Same thing with especially shooting, u needa b a rly rly good shooter if u don’t have a above average handle in 1 on 1, n u need to learn how to use ur body to guard urself, etc.

I think the best way to become an elite 1v1 player, is become really good at scoring from anywhere. Just practice so shots right off of movement are consistent. That way, you can make any move you want and it will be in your favour. Sounds obvious, but when I play in games, the defender usually gives me a lot of space, and I'm just not confident enough to shoot the ball.

facts like I have barely practiced my handles and I've mainly focused on shooting and my dribbles r awful but if I could shoot from anywhere at least anywhere inside the D I would score so many more points even if my handles r not that good because all I need to do then is to get a bit of space as my shooting would be good enough to score

hello. I'm pretty good at ball, my two biggest strengths are shooting the 3 off the dribble or catch and driving to the rim and finishing using different moves but I still need to work on my mid range which is my weakness so can you explain how to get better at the mid range game because I would love to score on all three levels instead of 2.

@vfauni5764 yeah i know but since i play basketball on a daily basis, just need to improve on my midrange because my 3 ball and driving game is pretty elite.

@@andrewabraham5109if your 3 and driving game is elite, focus on hitting the pull up middy especially if you're quick. If you can shoot the 3, you can hit the mid

2 great isolation players that are both poor defenders, they need the right pieces around them to be successful. Redundancy never works well when it comes to your best players on the same team.
