A bit like my collection. I started simply with the basic VHS set but when I got my LD player, I got obsessed, I found a web page that listed all the different video releases, and I just used it as a checklist. When I had all the LD (except for the Japanese LD of Ep I) I went back to the VHS and tracked all of them down, including 2 widescreen collector box sets. I also have the RCA CEDs and VCD of the OT SE and Episode I. I also have all the contemporary documentaries on VHS, LD & CED, Making of Star Wars 1977 (4 versions, originally narrated by William Conrad and the replaced narration version). ESB SPFX 1980, 4 versions, Classic Creatures: ROTJ 1983, 2 versions and From Star Wars to Jedi 1983, at least 4 versions. I have all the DVDs of the core set and Clone Wars. I have 1 of the Ewok movies on LD but haven't got my hands on any VHS or DVD. I have the first Blu-Ray set, I picked it up before I had a player but sadly am way behind on the rest of the Blu-Ra releases. I also look forward to getting my hands on the recent TV series. The hunt never ends, my brother calls ne a hoarder. 🙂
So, Episode 3 was also released in a few South America countries too but not in the cardboard but the VHS case. I ended up buying the American version of the Episode 3 DVD to avoid the dual language cover. You have an amazing collection and eventually I will get there, but my goal is to get the sealed versions of everything.
I have so many different releases on VHS but they are all over the place in different boxes and closets. Of the US releases i have them all, except the Silver box with the Jabba special edition repro filmcel. Because I figured I had the same release on Laserdisc, with all the same bonus material sans filmcel. I do have the first trilogy release, it's not a box but a wraparound piece of cardboard holding the 3 tapes together. I also have the rental tape, FOX rental library. I have all the Laserdiscs except for PAL releases or Hong Kong NTSC releases, Korean/Singapore. I do have the Hong Kong Return of the Jedi though. The only PAL I have 1994 Pyramid Coffret from France Laserdisc, Executor box set VHS, UK all 3 pan and scan original issues. I just purchased the 2000 set from Japan on Laserdisc, I probably should wrap up my collecting since I don't really need the Analog only from SW to JEDI, and I have no need for the Ewok Adventure or The Battle for Endor Japanese Laserdiscs because I am quite satisfied with the US DVD.
I might still have it in storage. I think it’s full screen though. I just bought the widescreen dvd at goodwill for $3. It’s my second favorite of all 11 major movies.
great collection man it had me geeking out the whole video lol I love Star Wars The Rise of skywalker teaser blew me away I recommend checking it out if you haven't my most anticipated movie of the year
I'd love to own the original trilogy but it's hard to find and people have to hogg that shit just to collect it. So I'm stuck watching the stupid special editions.
I have all nine Star Wars films and two Star Wars spin-off films on DVD.
Tears to my eyes it's beautiful.
Same
