You inspired me to do it dawg.
I’m 23 hoping to start a business in this industry. Hats off to you Frosty!!!
Chef by trade here, wannabe-weekend-wood-worker. BIG respect to you for running such a functional operation at such a young age. Can't even imagine how amazing your business flow will be fifteen, twenty years from now. Stay up.
Keep Up the good work builder Mike.Long hours when you are young, less when you are older.American Pioneer Carpentry-NYC.
Well done Mike! I have always loved your affinity for utilizing technology in the construction field. Keep up the good work boys!
Thanks for the kind words!
Very impressive, you got your shit together, most people take years and years to get where you are, respect where respect is due I am twice your age. And it took me a good 10 years to get the point where you are all ready at. Good job
(0:00-1:00) Introduction by Mike Frost, owner of Frost Contracting in Omaha, Nebraska.
(2:00-2:30) Arrival at the shop and planning to call the electrician.
(3:30-4:00) Waiting for Luke at Menards.
(6:30-8:00) Sorting bins for each team member and organizing materials, then wrapping up at the job site and heading to a customer's house to sign a contract and finalize details.

Where are you buying material? Do you pay someone to go get supplies? I will suggest pay a little bit extra but have the guys picking up material or hire a driver for material. Good job keep making shit happen 👏
Sick vid!

Hi Michael, what software are you using to keep track of the projects?

Inspiring
How did you know you was ready to become a GC
How is there an iPad built into your truck?
My buddy gets 50 to 100 a square ft. On additions I'm in a tri-state area of Ga,N.C and Tennessee. How do you bid your jobs out there. I'm thinking of becoming a General Contractor.
What degree or diploma did you get to qualify for genereal contractor? Business or Engineering or Construction Management or trades? from Philippines
You don’t need one, I think you only need high school
Are you close to 6 figures yet? Almost done with highschool and want to get in the trades.
Why did you choose to hire your own tradesman rather than just subbing it out
I sub contract out the specialty trades. I hire in house employees/carpenters to have more control over the jobs. The in house team does the carpentry work (Framing, doors, trim, windows, some flooring, tile, some siding etc.)
@@michaelfrost6051 Interesting I guess I’m just different I like little overhead. How has the method you use worked for you ?
Small world I live over in Blair and frame and remodel in omaha.
What crm do you use for your project management?

How did you first get started in being a gc?
Mfceo!!!
Lots of trucking whose working
Do you have any schooling done?
Only the school of hard knocks. I worked for two custom home builders for three years before going out on my own. A lot of UA-cam, self teaching and learning from my mistakes. I credit the base of my knowledge to the foreman at the two home builders I worked for.
who the fuck runs zip like that lmao
