    (0:00-1:00) Introduction by Mike Frost, owner of Frost Contracting in Omaha, Nebraska. (2:00-2:30) Arrival at the shop and planning to call the electrician. (3:30-4:00) Waiting for Luke at Menards. (6:30-8:00) Sorting bins for each team member and organizing materials, then wrapping up at the job site and heading to a customer's house to sign a contract and finalize details.

    What is that software called? Do you just import a company logo/company info and it'll form it in to a pdf and attach it to an email or something? Thanks!

    • @michaelfrost6051
      @michaelfrost6051 3 роки тому

      Buildertrend, They set up everything with your logo. When you send an estimate it sends through the online software, but goes to the customer email. When they open the email and click on there link it will take them to a web page with their estimate on it and send you a notification when they open the estimate.

    Why did you choose to hire your own tradesman rather than just subbing it out

    • @michaelfrost6051
      @michaelfrost6051 3 роки тому

      I sub contract out the specialty trades. I hire in house employees/carpenters to have more control over the jobs. The in house team does the carpentry work (Framing, doors, trim, windows, some flooring, tile, some siding etc.)

      Only the school of hard knocks. I worked for two custom home builders for three years before going out on my own. A lot of UA-cam, self teaching and learning from my mistakes. I credit the base of my knowledge to the foreman at the two home builders I worked for.
