"CATCH ANYTHING!!!!!!!?" That's one I get almost every time I find a quiet spot at the lake.
🤣🤣🤣
Same
randomviewmonitor same here
This annoys me but I also do it. 🤷🏻♂️
loll me: no no nothing horrible fishing here go away 😂
Another pet peeve. When I get skunked and every person on the way back asks “did you catch anything”
Haha bro yes
Oh yeah I hate that 😡😡
Yes you are so right
69 nice
That happens way to often for me.
Pet peeve of mine. Spots that look juicy, that you can’t get to/can’t cast to!
Zach/1 Knudsen omg so true and u here good story’s of people catching huge fish there
@@pl4life306 “but you can only get there in a boat or kayak”
@freedom man I can’t tell if this is a joke, but how can I cast if the water is above my shoulders?.. 😅
@freedom man 😂😂
Same.
I have some other ones:
1. When you buy live worms and they are all melted
2. When you and someone else are fishing the same spot with the same baits and they catch way more fish than you.
3. When you gut hook a fish and the line snaps while you're getting the hook out.
4. People who kill fish and leave them on the bank.
5. When you go fishing a bunch of new fishermen so you're constantly tying on new hooks and getting lines unsnagged.
6. When you pack too quickly and bring the wrong box or forget something important.
7. When you use cheap hooks and they bend.
Reply with any more suggestions.
good !!!!!
1. When you let a bluegill take your worm for half a second and it has already partially digested your hook (the worm having been digested long ago) and was sitting in its easy chair getting ready for an afternoon nap. 2. When you try every method under the sun to catch the lazy carp finning all around you and then a kid comes in with his clip on bobber, 3.84 nightcrawlers on a thirty ought grouper hook and hooks one in 30 seconds. (After approximately 837 loud and splashy failed casts that should have sent deaf fish running for the hills) 3. When that one kid stands right next to you and doesnt recognize fishing space. Then crosses your line twice b4 u move. 4. When that 3 inch bluegill eats your whole nightcrawler meant 4 catfish. 5. When you fight a ginormous fish for 10 min before finding its a smelly turtle who wants to bite you. 6. When you catch nothing for an hour. Then you hand your pole to your friend and they hook up in ten seconds w a decent fish. 7. When OTHER PEOPLE CHECK THE POLES SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO YOU! HEY, ARE THESE YOURS? (As they attempt to reel it in upside down) Ok, im done complaining.
Number 5 hits me directly in my soul
Thats why you always check the worms before buying
@@sawyer6241 I learned that the hard way😭😔
People keep the plastic on the rod handle.
Ich Phan bro yes why do people even do that?
Just never took mine off. Weird.
Ops, I need to go take 6 of mines off. haha.
Keeps them from getting killed by the rod holders in rough chop trolling
If you need to return the rod its good to keep the plastic on
The guy that catches a big fish on your most hated lure
Or favorite lure
Or the guy that gives you his most hated lure because he thinks you won't catch anything
People ask me if I’m fishing when I’m fishing and I say “well judging by the rod in my hand and my lures I’m preparing to establish communism”
Roy Morcos lol that’s funny bro btw
HAIL TO THE MOTHERLAND COMRADE
😂😂😂😂😂
This is gold!
Gave you the hundreth like
When your spot gets found. Or when youre fishing 40 feet down from someone, catch a fish, and the orange bucket brigade smelling like cheap laundry detergent in southern california littering modelos stand 4 feet next to you (true story every weekend)
True
The only gripe I have with this reel is the weight, but that goes with the size of the reel ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I brought this salmon fishing up in Oswego, NY. I coupled it with a Cabela's Whuppin Stick. I had no problem pulling in a 14lb salmon. I will probably use this for surf fishing this summer and downgrade to a 3500 series Battle II next salmon season to save my wrists. All of the operations are butter smooth and the bail is nice and thick and has a solid flip to it. Everything about this reel is sturdy and strong. The drag system held up to the salmon and was also super smooth. I did use a scale to set the drag properly before going out to the river and this worked out tremendously. A bunch of other guys on the river would hook up and snap almost immediately. Just because you have a good drag system doesn't do anything if you don't set it correctly.
My pet peeve is when you are out fishing on a boat and there are just people of jet skies and speed boats driving by you in your casting distance
There are more of us than you might think, we are many!!!
Right😂
Yeah I have a kayak that I can use over the summer and boaters just absolutely ruin the fishing unless I’m there in the early morning.
7:51 for me they usually yell "there's no fish in there!"
I discover more pet peeves the more I fish publically with other anglers lol
So relatable! I love it Brendan! Thank you so much for putting your time into these videos!
Here is another of my pet peeves when your watching a UA-cam video and a freaking add shows up and it’s about tik tok
Locktress94 that has nothing to do with fishing but still true though
@@gaberosado885 yeah
Like bruh I already have tiktok I do not need it advertised in my face.
My pet peeve is when someone see’s you catch a fish and come over and say did catch a fish and they see you fighting it
Such a handsome young man, with your Doc Holiday stash!!
If i had that many problems i would stop fishing
7:38 this happens to me all the time
Bro I fish a local pond and I have had people completely stop their cars and roll down their window and awkwardly stare at me for a good 20 seconds before they slowly roll off continuously staring me down 😂 Like I'm not shark fishing there isn't that much going on why do people decide to stare or yell lmao
Yeah one of my favorite fishing spots is by a road and sometimes people just shout strange things to me while driving
When your line is 50 yards out an you get hooked an people ask “what do you got” I always say “must be a coyote”
Gotta admit, train bridges are some of the bestestest structure on rivers tho 🤔🎣🐟
I hate it when you drop your reel in the sand. It makes a horrible feeling
Ruined a reel like these the other day :((
hoody hoo what type of reel was it? I can probably deep clean it for u
I dropped my rod and reel in sand last year and it was hard to use the reel for like 2 months.
It's been 4 years... I haven't seen this channel that long. It feels so nostalgic coming back hear. This channel will forever be the best fishing channel.
when you buy a 55$ lure then you fish with it and first cast you get a bite and you lose a 10 pound bass and it takes your bait with it
hook: gets caught on tree comes out nice
also hook: gets caught in peice of grass doesnt come out :C
When i saw the notification i was like yessssss!!!
3:04 just walk with the rod pointed behind you
One of my fishing pet peeves: when you get snagged on something like a twig and someone says, "wow, looks like you've caught something big!"
I 100% agree with the trains. Especially trout fishing next to a NS track. I hate watching the trout go crazy when the train goes by and my dad even works for NS.
One time I was trying to land a 7lb bass and my cousin grabbed the line and it broke.
The fish got away💀
@ujelly bro
How do you know it was 7 lbs when you didn’t even land the fish?
@@cameronkedas3334 just a guess man
Hahaha yes I can relate to the loud bite yelling. Happened yesterday could here the dude across the lake
That place you fell looks like a spot I like at Lake Lanier. Biggest pet peeve is people leaving line EVERYWHERE or after trekking a mile through spiderwebs and thorns Then a boat just drives right up on you and starts casting. Took them 2 min and a pleasant drive. Took me an hour or more and I'm covered in scratches, webs and have to check my line for frays....A**holes
1:35 I love the berky lightning rod
3:09 me: laughing in baitcaster
My favorite pet peeve is the one where people Creep on you while fishing! I died laughing🤣🤣🤣
Keep going strong Brendan! God bless you for spreading his word.
The leaves in the line!!!!! So relateble!
I'm still giggling. Loved the stranger behind the tree skit. Your truly comical😄.
8:12 no I'm f*cking bowling 🤣
Always look forward to these videos. Keep up the good work
er mer gerd!
BEST SERIES ON UA-cam
Finally. I had to have watched every other fishing pet peeves videos like 5 times each and after over a year a new ine
Most of this is part of the process and learning curve. The thing that ticks me off is when it's finger numbing cold!
My favorite series is back
When trailbusting thru trees, it’s easier to lead with the rod butt first and the rod tucked under your arm.
Pet peeve: when I’m fishing and I catch a fish people/my dad start going to my spot when I’m trying to land my fish and they’re in the way.
Tip for walking through vegetation with a rod is just hold it backwards over your shoulder and prevents most your snags
When you have a lure or bait on the line and an idiot thinks its a fish and says: "OMG YOU CAUGHT A FISH!" Smh that annoys me.
When going through the “jungle” just hold the rod by the handle with the tip behind you. This will prevent most snags.
Kayakers that paddle all the way up to your pool below the spillway to say hi and then turn around and float off.
lyubakavideo oooooo that's a good one ..
One of my pet peeves is when you hike a mile to get to a spot and another person is there and they say that they found an easier way back there
the best one is when someone says catch anything? and then says good luck and then laugh's at you and walks off...
The most relatable one is slipping on rocks. I spotted a big bass once and then fell over backwards because I wasn't watching my feet. Lol
My fishing pet peeve is when you're in a kayak and the bass are schooling and someone drives their boat through the middle of the school !!!!
omg earlier I was watching these vids and you just made one lol, nice vid keep it up:)
Ew fortnite kid
Or Brendan, mowers. In my neighborhood I fish in a pond and everybody mows there lawns all the time when I fish
When kayakers get tangled in your line. Or when your fishing and you think you have a bite but a boat got your line tangled in the motor
I love your videos Brandon this is one of my favorites
The wind can be the most annoying thing for me
Been waiting a long time for a new pet peeves vid. Amazing job man.
I've had the train experience too but I was fishing right under the bridge and got showered with large gravel that the train knocked loose.
My biggest pet peeve is the phrase, "CATCH ANYTHING?!"
I have one forgetting to click your bell on your spinning real and I liked your old intro
I love these series
@Brendan Miller say it don’t spray it!!!! Lmaoooo
When you go fishing and catch a sunfish every time
The person that asks you to go to a secret spot through the woods but wants you to go first
Don’t stop this series please
When your fishing and there is wide open space but yet somebody decides to fish right next to you
Love the pet peeves
Lol these are great and super relatable for me. I'll have to check out the prequels in this series next
That cut at 5:21 was smooth boi love these vids 😂
I deal with the train one all the time there’s tracks behind my local pond😂
I honestly kinda love fishing near trains. I feel like the fish there are probably more desensitized to vibration and noise
Random guy:pulls on brendans line
Brendan:pushes him in the water
Congratulations amazing Fishing Beautiful *Video.*
Hug and Good Fishing!👍
Pro tip: if you don’t want the noise of trains, go down the tracks and remove one of the rails. The trail then derails and the train won’t bother you.
(This is a joke, please don’t do this)
Dudes tryna fish stealthy while saying trains suck while standing under a railroad track
LOL I always get trains in my videos. Tight lines!
Lol the train is the one I relate to most one of my favorite fishing spots is directly under a train bridge
Love your vids keep up the amazing work
This series never disappoints!
The pet peeve with going threw the woods omg its so hard to go trout fishing
Finally another video! Thank you so much for your hardwork!
Yo creepy Brandon had me rollin! 😂😂😂
If Rod ever catches a steelhead, tell us. We are rooting for him.
I work next to train tracks and they drive me nuts lol.
When you're standing in the river waiting for your spot to calm back down after wading in and you hear the slapping plopping and chatter of two old kayakers going upstream at half a mile an hour. What's better is they try and keep their distance so they don't bother you but it's a damn river so there's only so much space sO tHEY PLIP PLOP THEIR PADDLES RIGHT ON THROUGH THE SPOT ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE RIVER YOU WANTED TO CAST INTO
Love these!!!!
Finally made another one of these love it and finally you’re actually back to
Those steelhead ones happen to me all the time lol. great video 👍🏻
I have that same Berkeley Rod in a one piece casting model, only $40 at Wally World. Total broom stick.
Man I’ve been looking forward for this video. Keep up the great content. 👍🏻👌🏻
If trains go by, it doesn't spook the fish, they be used to that stuff by living in an area that is by the train. I'd bet it t spooks you more than the fishes.
Also, with the rod tip coming off. Put in on so the eyes are off angle by 90° then twist on tight until the eyes line up. You'll never throw your tip off again.
When I’m fishing with my little cousin and I’m recalling in fast to cast again he goes “ catch somthin “
These were gold! 😆😆😆😭
What is the name of that whistling tune you used to have for your intro? I’ve been trying to figure it out for a looong time... plz help
Ya my friends always yell when they get a bite.
Dads running from across the lake to let there kids see the fish
My pet peeve is when you catch nothing and head home and as you are about to leave and the person next to you catches a monster
When you didnt catch anything and literally everyone asks you if you caught anything.
Than when you catch a monster nobody asks you if you caught anything.
So funny love them
