This is the cover I’ve been looking for. All of the other covers of this song (that’s I’ve seen so far) miss the intricacies and monster fills. Great job
Mitch Mitchell’s style. I am not sure know what the definite definition is, perhaps jazz fusion. But these definitions mean very little in my opinion… There are many great “jazz fusion” drummers but the greatness of Mitch was in his ability to mimic Hendrix on drums. Very melodic, loose playing, but still solid and moderate, without an intention to take over the song. I would say that besides Mitch there’s Bill Bruford of Yes and King Crimson, Ginger Baker of Cream and even Keith Moon of The Who. They are very similar in genre.
@@kidtomer thanks a lot I'm picking up the drums after 12 years of playing bass . Having a lot of fun watching you play, has helped me out a lot Keep rocking !
Omg thank you for actually playing this pretty dang accurate!! I watch covers to help me learn songs! This rocks
Me too!!! The drums in the original recording are so quiet 😭
Such an effortlessly laid back yet energetic bit of drumming on this song
Easily the best cover of this song on youtube

Good stuff, nice to hear mostly your drums, makes it easier to figure out and thanks for doing the hard work!
@TomerDrums Loved that cover! Your attention to detail and faithful to the original recording. Good use of dynamics from verse to chorus too!
