- Cris has been been knitting for 30 years. From Brazil and currently living in São Paulo, she has a
masters degree in fashion and textile, and she studied creative knitwear at Knit-1 in Brighton,
UK, in 2011. This course changed her perspective on handcrafts and creativity and upon
returning to Brazil that year, created a mission to change the way handcrafts are perceived in
her country. She launched her first book, about top-down sweaters, with 13 projects this April.

Another great Interview. Thank you Irina! Please let me know when you’re going south of the equator. Want company? 😂😊
That would be wonderful!
Carnival sounds amazing!
Great discussion regarding slow fashion. So many parallels with slow food. Fast food not healthy for us and fast fashion not healthy for the planet.
Very true
Come to Brazil for Carnival! We promise fun!!! ❤
