Love these ideas! The second tip about showing up in local spaces and events. How would you go about talking with parents at a school concert or event without sounding too salesy? I feel like people tend to go to these events in groups or couples and may not be interested in talking to me.-

We really amp it up before booking and then do it super cheap. $20/person and book them super close together.

I am very interested in entering my local schools and offering to photograph their sports teams or clubs/organizations. How much do you typically charge for these services? I would love to make connections with the students and parents to get senior bookings down the line. Thanks!

We charge a very reasonable rate :)
Thank you for sharing the tips! One question to posting client photos - do you usually need a written agreement from the client to post their photos online (e.g. your website or your social media)? I understand the photography owns the right to the photos but to me these photos are used for promotion purpose so will need the permission from the client or I am wrong about it.
We do have a form they sign saying it’s ok to post their photos. :)
