Excellent video. I say this on all your videos, but I don't understand why your likes aren't in the thousands.

You’re my favourite horseman! I greatly appreciate your gentleness with your horses, how quiet you are, the care you put into training them and giving them the best future possible. Easy to understand explanations and concepts, too! Truly an inspiration.

‘Rolling the Jaw’ is critical to softness anywhere and every where in the horse body. If the Atlanta Occipital joint is braced the whole horse is braced to some degree. GREAT and CRITICAL advice!!!!!!

Hey Ted. I love your videos. I'm learning horsemanship from the very beginning. I've searched through all of your videos and I can't find where you explain how to halter the horse. I need help with the knot from lead rope to halter. Thank you and I will appreciate any reply.

What can I do when my horse doesn't pull back on the rope when standing there but when she is scared or spooked or nervous. Goes into a frenzy of pulling back

That horse looks so sad. Like he has given up on life. Compared to my horse they look like two different kind of animals. I guess breaking a horse's spirit is a good thing, but breaking a human's spirit isn't. That is so wrong.

where in this video is he breaking this horses spirit? he is extremely gentle and understands horses and their behaviour + way of thinking more than most of us. this horse is simply old and lazy and looks like he's enjoying the attention hence the complete relaxation and softness in his face, if anything he is actually being quite playful mouthing at the rope and getting in his handlers space. not all horses are made the same, just because your horse is lively and alert 100% of the time doesn't mean all other horses should be the same.
