@ Bergouata did not create or aim to create a unified Morocco. It was more of a tribal confederation in specific areas and never expanded beyond that. Furthermore they were not Islamic, they created their own version of the religion
@@agnostimous2859 The Idrisids were also geographically limited and ruled only the area of Fez and its surroundings. They simply ignore the Barghawata because it was an Amazigh state and their ruler did not belong to the Arabs.
@@CakeWeek-n7u You answered your own question I guess 😊 Berghouata was a limited tribal endeavor for Berghouata… which is not the case for the Idrissids who had a clear goal of unifying and creating a unity amongst all tribes regardless of who was who. In Algeria also, there was the Kingdom of Coco and it’s not considered as the genesis of an Algerian state that unified all Algerian from all backgrounds… That’s why the Idrissids are considered as the first genesis of a unified Moroccan state.

Not Morocco, the Moroccan State and the first dynasty
@@agnostimous2859 not true, Bourghwata before Idrissi as an ''islamic dynasty''
