Early adopter here, definitely worth keeping an eye on this company they are at the forefront of Web3 creativity and asset choice. integrated seamlessly into my project and now have fully customizable skins on users players without paying tens of dollars a time. thank you. Our company MiMeta would love to open a dialogue in the future
just in case I am not the only one dealing with this. the SDK you have to install the git then close unity if you happen to have it open (check your hidden icons too in case its open in the background) then use the link on the page to install into Unity.
well this was very helpful and nice but one thing, option should be added to download the character in fbx, obj and blend file other thank copy link pasting in unity, this method should also be available and also the other option like FBX, OBJ and BLEND download, hope this is been considered
Really helpful video! I've encountered a problem: when avatar is imported into Unity, the avatar's arms went from open to scrunched up with collapsed shoulders, any suggestion on that? Thanks
is there a way to use it for charactercustomization in unity, like after importing the character you can import the maerials too e.g for the clothes and you can change your characters clothes within unity instead of reimporting everytime you make a change
Yes, you can find more about how to achieve this in our documentation here: docs.readyplayer.me/ready-player-me/integration-guides/unity/avatar-creator/build-your-own-avatar-creator
Your link to the SDK is dead, and I haven't bee able to find anything on the website about it. Also, a video specific to VRchat would be really nice. A year ago I tried to upload My avatar from the site to VRC. it never showed up. Recently, i thought i would try again. I made a new avatar, it Still hasn't shown up. So I figure no big deal, loading an SDK avatar from Gumroad or anywhere else is easy with the plentiful instructions... Nope. I get a .glb file, and some poor instructions and broken links. I can make my own avatars from scratch in blender and find that easier than trying to use this creation tool. The only reason I am still trying this, is the idea of a cross-platform one click upload of my avatar is still appealing, if it would ever work.

Any plans on creating a tutorial on how to import Ready Player Me players into a VR project or even more with making a multiplayer experience?
It says it's been depreciated, is there a new tutorial? thanks!
