You should consider getting a baby gate for your door. It will keep your foster doggy safe and out of your studio, without you needing to close your door. Target carries some inexpensive ones. 🐾🐾

Yeah, I have a baby gate to keep my pets out of my dressing room and usually they stop by a few times while I'm in there to check on me -- I say hi and then they go back to lounging around the living room, lol. And ditto the door option -- I'm tall enough to step over them easily, but my husband isn't, and my mom's too out of shape. If you want something a little more permanent, we used to have the kind that screwed into the wall and was hinged so it could swing back and forth. The cheaper ones we got were about $7 and the other ones were probably around $20.

i recently got a bunch from there and the AOA brushes are now my fave. insane quality. hardly believe they were so cheap. never buying high-end brushes again
Erica the ones i got were the angled kabuki-like foundation brush and the smaller version of it in a 2 pack. it still amazes me every day that they are two of my best brushes AND i like them better than a lot of my pricier ones! :)

THANK YOU for fostering an old and disabled pup!! They are always so forgotten at shelters, and nothing makes me more sad than the thought of a old pup spending their last bit of life in a shelter instead of a loving home. Seattle humans is amazing though, there’s also a shelter in Woodinville called homeward pet where we adopted our senior pup. Senior pups are the best!

I know I'm a year off but older dogs are so chill. I've rescued greyhounds that used to race. Always had dogs over 6 or seven years old. Greyhounds are so lazy, they will sleep for hours and be so offended if someone knocks the door and you don't get it instantly. They just like a couch and bed and to spread out on ther back with legs in the air and just chilling. Old dogs are so much fun when they find something that makes them turn into a puppy again. But greyhounds are docile hippy flower child dogs 😂.

I'm really into it, you can see more of how your skin really looks and can see what your talking about when you say a foundation/concealer has redness or darkness peeking through. I think the actual color of your skin and foundation match shows the "in real life" effect so it's easier to see what it looks like on your skin.
Taylor, speaking of powders, have you ever tried the By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder? It's supposed to be great for dry skin, but it's more expensive, so I've never tried it. Perhaps you could try it and compare it to the KKW one that you like so much now?

I am so glad you tried out the AOA line, I tell all my makeup friends about it! The price for the quality is so surprising! The lightest shade wasnt light enough for me so I mixed it with the LA colors/girl(?) white mixer and I love the combo.
The highlighter in creampuff is scratchy to the touch and doesn’t swatch well but it’s such a beautiful highlighter when it’s applied to my skin! I don’t know how it works but it literally transforms on my skin and “melts” in and looks so natural, I love it!
Castor Oil is widely used in cosmetics, it is the basis of most traditional bullet lipsticks. However, it seems strange that it would be in a matte setting spray!

Cream Puff is one of my all time favorite highlighters! It’s one of those shades that looks good with warm or cool looks. I also really like the Soft Light powder-I have similar issues with eye creasing and I notice I don’t crease as much if I use that.
I love the $1.55 ones but I tend to split them when I wash them, so my 2nd choice is the $1 purple ones. They are almost as soft and they hold up well.
I LOVE this brand and I'm glad that they're getting more recognition! That pink sponge is literally my favorite sponge of all time. Same with the concealer.
Taylor, have you ever tried setting your foundation all over with a damp sponge? I have acne marks too and it helps to not take away coverage!! Just dip your damp sponge into the pressed powder (works best) and press into the skin! 😊

Also they make the absolute BEST tweezers & eyelash curlers I've ever used!! Their cleansing puffs & silicone exfoliators are brilliant too I really wanna try those single pan shadows (I just love those truly cool neutral tones Taylor got) & blushes and that highlighter she used now too. I think the actual color of your skin and foundation match shows the "in real life" effect so it's easier to see what it looks like on your skin.
Taylor, speaking of powders, have you ever tried the By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder? It's supposed to be great for dry skin, but it's more expensive, so I've never tried it. Perhaps you could try it and compare it to the KKW one that you like so much now?

Yassssss! I love shopmissa, obviously some hits and misses but I constantly reach for their stuff. So glad to see you try it out. Pro tip scratch off the top of the highlighters and the majority of blushes (not just aoa) are really good!

The highlighter in creampuff is scratchy to the touch and doesn’t swatch well but it’s such a beautiful highlighter when it’s applied to my skin! I don’t know how it works but it literally transforms on my skin and “melts” in and looks so natural, I love it!

Castor Oil is widely used in cosmetics, it is the basis of most traditional bullet lipsticks. However, it seems strange that it would be in a matte setting spray!

Cream Puff is one of my all time favorite highlighters! It’s one of those shades that looks good with warm or cool looks. I also really like the Soft Light powder-I have similar issues with eye creasing and I notice I don’t crease as much if I use that.

I love the $1.55 ones but I tend to split them when I wash them, so my 2nd choice is the $1 purple ones. They are almost as soft and they hold up well.

Taylor, have you ever tried setting your foundation all over with a damp sponge? I have acne marks too and it helps to not take away coverage!! Just dip your damp sponge into the pressed powder (works best) and press into the skin! 😊

Oh hell yes! Shop MissA have some great stuff, the AOA line especially. Yes to the brushes (and that palest pink blender it's the best one) and lashes - I love 'em! Also they make the absolute BEST tweezers & eyelash curlers I've ever used!! Their cleansing puffs & silicone exfoliators are brilliant too I really wanna try those single pan shadows (I just love those truly cool neutral tones Taylor got) & blushes and that highlighter she used now too. Also bonus points for them not charging an absolute fortune for international shipping!!
