    🌺 ENGLISH 🌺
BAND-MAID will release a new song “Bestie” co-written with INCUBUS’s Mike Einziger on April 17th!
The moment I heard Master MISA's bass on this song, I thought, ``I want to play it!''
I usually transcribe my performance using "BAND-MAID PRIME," but this time I performed in the position that Master MISA would probably do.
A few days later, the music video for this song will be released worldwide for the first time on UA-cam!
I'm looking forward to seeing Master MISA's performance.
🎀MV released on May 2nd. I have confirmed Master MISA's performance position.
The LIVE was also uploaded on UA-cam, so check that out as well.
The playing position was almost correct. I'm so happy! 🎀

@@bandmaid_blue If you don't mind, I'm a bit curious. You seem like a seasoned Bass Player, is it more challenging and fun to play Misa's Bass Lines as opposed to more traditional Bass Lines?
Secondly, casual fans often gush about Misa's techniques and play style. Is it really that different and stand out from say another talented Bassist like a Fami from Lovebites? I mean from a difficulty, creativity and uniqueness standpoint, not so much genre (power metal as opposed to hard rock)?
If you've got the time, thanks in advance

      @@Studio-Coast_Kid nice to meet you.
Please understand that I refer to MISA as "Master MISA."
Playing her bass line is not easy.
I think she can play easily, but I think her playing style makes sense both visually and sonically.
Covering Master MISA's performance is a blissful experience for me.
It may not be a 100% perfect cover, but it is definitely based on Master MISA's
I'm trying to get closer to her performance.
The answer to the next question is one of Master MISA's techniques.
From pick to slap or from slap to pick
There is a technique. Many reactor people use this
I think you're talking about technique. This technology is amazing.
I also spent a lot of time learning it.
I still sometimes drop my pick though.
The playing styles of Lovebites' Fami and Master MISA are different.
      I think so.
      Both are great bass players.
      I love Master MISA's performances.
Of course, I respect Fami's performance as well.
I will continue to do my best to become as close to Master MISA as possible.
I'm sorry that my English is not very good.

Great job! I just discovered you and am currently going back through your past videos. I did notice you have a 5 string now. How much difference does it make-I'm not a musician?

    • @bandmaid_blue
      @bandmaid_blue  24 дні тому +1

      Thank you for watching.
I used to play a 5-string bass a long time ago.
      However, I didn't need a 5-string bass back then.
When covering "BAND-MAID," there were many things I just couldn't express with a 4-string, so I bought a 5-string bass again.
A 5-string bass has a thicker neck and is heavier.
It's not a problem if you're playing while sitting down, but it's harder to play standing up at a live show than a 4-string.
But the bass range is wider, so you can expand your repertoire.
I can say this now, but a 5-string bass is a recommended instrument.

    • @jamesgodwin868
      @jamesgodwin868 23 дні тому +1

@@bandmaid_blue So,that's why Misa chose a 5 string; she started out with a 4 string as you can see in the first video of Thrill. I am not a musician,so,thanks for enlightening me.
