Harbor Freight Towbar (Overview and Improvements)...

I've towed my 2010 Ford Police Crown victoria from Carlsbad NM to Killeen, Texas several times with no issues. The Harbor freight tow bar has worked flawlessly for me. You'll find its a great buy.

Rule 1: replace all Harbor Freight bolts because the stock bolts are soft and the threads are not cleanly cut. I used grade 8 with nyloc nuts.

Prolly why one of the first things the new installation mamual says is 'DO NOT WELD'.

Most all wheel drive can't be towed that way.
