Thank you so much for shariing your knowledge ! I just found and subscribed to your channel a few days ago and it's been about a month since I started using Darktable. Your videos are really helpful ! Thanks from France :)
Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it took me this long to find your channel! I love seeing your workflow - I’ve been slowly trying to figure out darktable for about two years now... your videos are some of the best so far! Great to hear and what each of the modules do!
My pleasure Tom! maybe I should have organised two videos LOL when I start developing an idea I just can't stop or split it in episodes. haha See you in the next video. Another interesting one I think. Cheers
Stefano you've addressed a lot in this generous video. I think newbies to both photography AND Darktable are possibly easily daunted by the sheer number of modules and how they should be used. Practice makes perfect I suppose, but sometimes I see a gap betwenn what's obvious to you guys and definately not to me. All these videos help to put me on the right track and grow my confidence with DarkTable. Some say to start by editing the image in B&W first and then work on a corrected colour image. IS this useful, what are your thoughts on that? Finally I wondered if you make much use of filters on the camera if so which, CPL, GND2,4,6 ... Thanks again
I used to use filters but not any more, unless I do videos with the camera. The process, from bw or not, is a personal thing I believe. I like to work with colours but once again it's a personal preference
Always good to see other photographers' workflow. Great video. Thanks.
Very useful thanks! Keep up the Darktable tutorials please, gradually figuring it out and your videos a big help.
