Hii, this is a useful knowledge. I want to know that, in Revit I choose imperial template and model a plan in imperial template but now I want to change my unit in metric so I can change the units from UNITS but inbuilt family like wall is not change in metric so I want to know 'Is there any method to change whole thing in that unit 'metric' in same project?
Is it correct to say that chosen template affect only to the units of used families and the rest measurements we can change in Project Units settings? Is it needed to have two versions (metric and for imperial) of each family type (wall, door, etc.)?
more explain pklz..i want use every thing in metric unit when i open revit.. how i do??? i mean when i make a wall not in inches or foot but in meter..and same for all//thanks for you vedios
Hey man. In my templates folder on the Generic folder has files (templates). The US Imperial and US Metric folder is empty. They probably not been installed....reinstallation isn't an option now. What do you suggest i do? Help!
I wonder why you don't suggest to use the templates inside the Generic folder?...there you find metric templates for Germany, England, Spain, Italy, etc.

it might help if u just copy them from the installation files of some friend, if it's the same version of yours. just try this.
