@@pyurologie im on 17 12700f dont find it good for tarkov or rust rn sooo
ua-cam.com/video/XWne1jqhdjI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared 13600k not bad with fast RAM. I'd compare prices for a 5700X3D and a cheap B550 vs 13th or 14th gen upgrade. perf will be similar. or 7800X3D as well, 7800X3D will outperform all those and doesnt cost a ton more. lmk if u hace more questions
@@pyurologie My full specs are 3070ti i7 12700f and 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram idk if I should get a 13 or 14 gen or just switch mobos and get the 7800x3d Idk what do you think?
@@Meddyvalid I run my 12400f with ddr5 ram and dont run into issues with rust performance, my rust can eat up 30gb of my 32 total 5200 mhz. So i am gonna guess you are bottlenecked on rust especially due to 16gb ddr4 ram. A simple solution would be to buy more ddr4, the futureproofing solution would be get a ddr5 motherboard if u wanna keep your cpu. But i personally am gonna upgrade to a 7800x3d in 4 months ish depending on how big amds new am5 cpus are gonna be.
nice ... great comparison as always
yooo thanks man!
Привет. Вы как всегда довольно продуктивны.
What are your recommendations for buying a processor? I am currently using the i7 8600. In any case, I need a bunch of processor + motherboard. I am inclined to take the 7800 x3d for $ 340, then I will have to buy additional ddr5 RAM.
here is a comparison of 9 top CPUs in tarkov. Rust FPS numbers are different from EFT, but the performance trends usually correlate closely since they're both built on Unity: ua-cam.com/video/0c-0gNGv87k/v-deo.html.
TL;DR is that 7800X3D is the best performer while being a pretty good value. Having good value at top performance is very unusual and that's why I feature it so much on my channel. X3D is amazing.

@@pyurologie Do I need to use water cooling for 7800x3d?
nope not at all. I have tested a $17 air cooler and various AIOs. Runs just fine on even the cheapest available air cooler for gaming. So, it all depends on your preference, but you can shop for one knowing you don't need to go fancy. let me know if you'd like a recommendation.
@@pyurologie G.Skill DDR5 RIPJAWS S5 32GB 6000MHz CL30 (30-40-40-96) or Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000 36-36-36-76 ?
How is it that a processor that is nearly 300 buck cheaper is out performing in fps? I'm confused because I'm about to buy the i9 14900k and I'm kinda tripping out?!?!?! Please help anyone. If I want to get the best fps on Rust, MW3, etc. running on a 4090 what do I buy 14900k or 7950x3d?
3d vcache
Thats subjective. FPS doesn't tell the entire story. Micro-stutters aren't measured in FPS since the stutters don't last long enough to effect the counter. 1 full second of 40 FPS can really be felt on that 1%. Because of that I would argue the intel CPU outperformed the amd one.
I'd agree with CommandoBlack. For those games you listed you would probably be better off with Intel.
Hello. What is the optimal liquid cooler for 7800x3d?
i've used $20 air cooler and $300 AIO. Almost no difference in gaming for X3D. So... basically anything.
would the cpu and rx 6600xt do a huge difference or is it worth it to buy the cpu
@@ra-gn5kv what i was thinking
4000 ddr4 seems like bottleneck with 14900k
@@dantel8995 lol why?
@@dantel8995it really is the bottleneck. Watch other vids with the 14900k in rust but with ddr5. It’s like 30-40 FPS higher
@@dantel8995 different games just have different needs. Rust is in dire need of optimization lol. Of course it would still beat it but the gap wouldn’t be as big. If you do a comparison you gotta do it right.
what is better cpu?
ryzen or intel
1% fps protect
Amd 7 7800x for gaming, less power consumption=less money spending on cooling upgrades.
Intel i9 13gen,14gen are all around great CPUs for any advance programming, Ai, etc. More power consumption though= more money to spend
Gaming/everyday Tasks=AMD 7 7800x
Advance programming for any type of work you throw at it/Gaming = i9 13gen 14gen
Hey buddy. Great benchmark! Btw I want to upgrade my cpu and I will probably go with 7800x3d as it cost lot less. Do you think I will get good fps on rust with this cpu and a 3080, 10gb? Rn am running a i9 9900k and I play In high pop servers only getting 60-100 fps
Yes
yep 7800X3D best chip for Unity games imo
Nice you use for i9 14900K Z690 chipset)))) try to get Z790))
ua-cam.com/video/uIlcu7Q0f58/v-deo.html I didn't put 14900K in my Z790 Apex or Kingpin because they did not support cryo cooling for 14th gen at launch. I returned my 14900K because I bought it only for cryo cooling testing. I've heard that they've added support for 14th gen cryo recently. I might pick up another 14th gen later.
Hey I need help making a pc I play rust a lot and want to do a lot of video editing and recording/streaming and don't know what to get all of this is really confusing to me, I was thinking to get the Rx 7900xtx paired up with the i9-14900k but in the video it has lower fps than the 7800x3d but i think it will be better for me with the 14900k because it has 24 cores for better recording and editing right? Also if you could please make me a $2000 build focusing just on performance not unnecessary cosmetics (if its more money) on pc part picker that would be awesome because I dont undersatnd all of this thank you!
