Beautiful project. A kit with written instructions would be very helpful for me. If we have a vote to encourage Eureka Beads to produce a kit, I vote "yes"!! Thanks for sharing this fun project with us.
Thank you so much for the feedback! Glad you liked it. Actually, this entire design came to be because of Beam beads -- I was determined to use them in some way, because I so rarely find a creative use of them! [Aga, the designer]
Thanks! I think substituting superduis for ginkgos would definitely affect the design in some way, but since they both have 2 holes, and the beads in the pattern are not very tight, it would be technically possible -- only you'd have to plan ahead so that whenever you have to step down to the other hole, the ginkgo would be turned the right way - so that you r thread lies against the smooth rounded side and not the side with the more pointy 'stem' of the 'leaf'. The best results, however, will be with superduos! If you need some or want a different color, we have lots! 😉
That's a great idea -- actually in a week or two we will have kits for one of our previous ornaments, but maybe we should make kits for this one too? And there's no PDF pattern available YET, but we promise we'll work on that! Maybe as a Christmas gift? ;-)
@@EurekaCrystalBeads will the kits have instructions in the kits? My eyes are not too good at my age but that doesn’t stop me from doing things with a PDF.
I happen to know you did not design this ornament, I was making it with Bronzepony tutorial way before you got a hold of it. Had I known her tutorial was gone, I would not have ordered more kits, you are hard to understand and go too fast.
Hi, designer here! I did in fact design this :) Ornament covers are similar, that's true, but mine and hers use different beads and the process is different as well. With ornament covers, unless you're doing a netting pattern, it's difficult to go otherwise than in a circle, that may be another reason why most ornament cover designs 'feel' similar. Bronzepony's tutorial is still available, just type in "Hearthside Ornament" and you will get 2 videos with her tutorial. Go ahead and compare.

Thank you! 😊
Beautiful cover, such a shame that I live in the UK as I would have loved to use your shop. Thanks so much for this lovely fresh looking cover.
Thanks so much for watching & for commenting 💗 Happy beading!
Hello! What a wonderful pattern! Can you tell me, please, if I can substitute superduos for the gecko beads?

Is there a kit and or PDF available?

I try to do Christmas Baubles for Christmas baskets.
